it is really good & realistic. at that time...gold was not found. so no use of gold ia correct.... costumes is good.ronit roy rocks. i am interesed to see which actors will play pandavas.
Highly disgusting and depressing. Few points that cannot go down the viewers are: 1. Women not having pallus on their head.. which was a mark of respect and chastity during that period. 2. Women having curly hair which are flowing in the wind (purposely the wind is arranged to make them flow) 3. Women's costumes are like ramp models. This looks unchaste, dirty and without any dignity. 4. Men have no costumes at all. Everyon is shown bare chest and with tattoos. 5. All the characters are portrayed egoistic, esp Bhishma's expressions when he fights with Shantanu's army. In reality if you read actual Mahabharata, even Duryodhana was humbler than any of this ekta's characters. 6. Vyasadeva (our greatest acarya) is depicted like a taantric or black magician , which is very insulting for entire nation.
Ekta Mahabharat -- The real name should be >> "Kahani Sexy Bharat Ki" or "Kahani Greek Bharat Ki" All the costumes, armature design everything is vividly and elaborately described in Mahabharat (the sanskrit vresion) but these foolish people will use their tiny materialistic brains in explaing this great epic which is impossible and the result is big mess. Just look at the Counterpart NDTV RAMAYAN. Although it don't have any big so called actors but it is success because it is taken from authetic sources and the director has not messed with the chaaracters and presented as it is. DANGEROUS for NEW , OLD or ANY GENERATION. IT will only PROVOKE SEX on modern society instead of WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE. The AIM is to only SELL SEX and earn money.
This Mahabarat looks like epic of Europeans( mixture of Greek , Egyptian , Norse ) rather than Indian , No Gold Ornaments ( Gold primary metal of Indus Valley Civic ) , No Tilak (arayan civic ) , people wearing black dresses ( black = shani in India ), Missing Crowns and long hair , and in weapons here comes plane Blades ( indians used chandraduya = cruved blade) short composite Bow (Indians use long Bow s) and i don how the architecture of palaces will be , but one good thing is we may get rid of fighting arrows and get some good graphic in it
Upto now she has been working with some duffer characters, who do their act without using the brain. But what she will do to the Mahabharat characters who all had their brain behind their every act?!!!
Bollywood shud make a movie on Ramayana..Hritik Shud Play Ram ..Aishwarya shud play Sita ..Amitabh Bachchan shud play Dasharath and Mohanlal shud play Ravana..Vivek Oberoi shud be given the role of inderjit and Arjun Rampal as Lakshmana...

Mohanlal/Motulal as Raavan... well said.... I feel rajnikant will make better Hanuman and plzzz no amitabh bachchan... i guess Kamal Hassan would be a better Dashrath... (from Dashavataram... or whatever)
This sure is going to be Mahabharat for a life time not just for us but for our generations to come. Apart from that I will not be surprised if Ekata Kapoor plans to have a plastic surgery for all the characters after few years. Kunti and Gandhari will start playing all the politics like saas-bahu serials.
wow what a mahabharat is going to happen. The story somewhat goes like this. 1. Kunti will marry pandu and later after she becomes widow, suraj devta will come and propose her and they will get married and have two-three children. 2. A new character will be introduced to make peace between kauravas and pandavas. 3. Sita will fly from ayodhya to perform an item number. 4. Bhisma Pitamah will undergo a cosmetic surgery and be back from death. 5. The serial will take a 200 year leap time to time until it reaches 25th century.
SO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE WHO ARE EAGERLY WAITING FOR THIS MAHABHARAT TO HAPPEN....HAVE A NICE SHOW.
RE:spare the mahabharat at least. ekta!!!
