Why ? Ranbir got an award for that crappy movie Saawariya, that tells me enough about this IIFA. Its just a money making gimmick. I am sure all the stars were paid to attend this show. No wonder Aamir Khan refuses to attend B S award shows. Not surprised that the Bachchans were in full strength. Much more money is AB going to grab? How many charities does he support? He should build a few hospitals for the poor with all those 100's of crores that he and his family have ...
Randir Kapoor looks so smashing. But Deepika looks like his mom. I dont know how people rate her as beautiful. She will make a good vampire or villain. She has no sweetness in her face.
Thank God Jaya Bachchan looks a bit decent in the pic. She's been wearing really loud colours what with her bahu grabbibng the lime light. Thanks Jayaji, at least good sense prevailed herein. I am sure its your son's idea that you wear what you are wearing!
I dont want to open another controvercy here with the divide of indian cinema. First when I heard the name IIFA, I was thinking that this would be an inclusive award for indian films, not just bollywood. Have everyone forgotten that Indian Films include Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, etc ? Most of these regional language films have actors and movies, at times far better in quality than bollywood entertainment. Its an irony that this segment is ignored, and yet the awards are termed as 'International Indian Film Awards'.
When IIFA ceremony took place in Dubai, the Malayalam film actor Mammutty (obviously, Dubai is crowded with Mallus who would die to see Mammutty, and hence a good thing to do is to include him as a chief guest or so) highlighted to everyone that he disagrees with the misleading name IIFA, when it only caters to bollywood. This line was conveniently edited by the TV broadcasters. He, later reported this during an interview with Times of India. Please dont forget that Indian movies isnt just bollywood.
The fact that AB jr and Ash did not win anything despite stellar performance in Guru and Saruk's movies won numerous awards shows the greatness of the Bachchans.

he is the one; usually closely breathing down Jaya Bachan's neck AND Aishwarya holding hands with Amitabh Bachan........some very solid Bharatiya parampara...wah ! family values .
how come aish is standing near abhishek.. usually in all pics she'll be either hugging amitabh or holding his hands. deepika looks like a devil kareena looks like a some corpse got out from grave yard half burnt. Saif looks like a begger, dino morea and vivek can join those list of beggars..never had any hit movie from these beggars for the past 4-5 years, but signing autographs shamelessly. dia mirza... another useless creature in this earth, exposing at her best, atleast she can get some publicty with these cheap stunts Why cant they celebrate an indian film awards function in india ?? celebrating in bangkok and get some racial abuse from those native ppl, then come back to india and start shouting racism ..bla bla bla
we need guys like useless to add zing to the atmosphere on the forum. except his last 2 sentences i agree to what he said. bollywood needs to go global hence it is ok if we conduct some film fests in other countries.

All movies released this year except chak de india and TZP are superflops..this years An award function for all these utterflop movies ??great .. And those shameless flop heros and heroines coming to this stupid function in skimpy clothes as if they r going to receive oscars... Better change the award function name from IIFA to IBFA ..becoz its not international indian film awards, it international bollywood film awards for flop movies.
