Ekta, give us a break please! The costumes are straight out of films like quo vadis or one of those cheap Bollywood imitations directed by Poornachandra Rao or Bappiah starring Jitendra-Sridevi-Jayapradha that hit the screen in the 80s. There is no Indianess either in the characters or the costumes. They look so weird and distant Wonder whoever gave them this idea
Thank God! its still called Mahaabhaarat...and not KKahaanBharat...(i think people will survive ith the extra A's but KkahanBharat would have been disastorous...just pondering what it would have meant..an irony of sorts!

Hey title can't be without letter "K"..it's "Kahanee hamarey mahabharat kee" Crazy lady think that even epic like Mahabhartha need "K-branding" ...very poor title indeed.
they seems to be stil acting in K-serial. shamkshi tanwar is pathetic. kiran juneja playing ganga earlier was terrific wtih extra spark required to play divine ganga.
Ekta Kapoor has turned Mahabharat into an unintentional commedy. BR Chopra's was infinitely better. They spent a lot of time starting from the dialogs to costumes and casting the right people. Ekta Kapoor didn't bother about any of these aspects. She must have been inspired by the Hollywood movie "300", at least costumes looks very similar. Ekta Kapoor will turn Mahabharat into another tragic commedy liek Kyonki.... Shame on her.
