This is a good discovery news from Rediff. I came to know from Rediff only. Thanks to it. But i hope it does not become another RGV Ki aag. Nice but spicy news.
There is a saying "When Rome was burning, Nero was playing fiddle". When the whole chennai was reeling under petrol/diesel shortage, skyrocketing prices of locally grown vegetables, the "great CM" was busy viewing tamil film "uliyin osai" and inaugurating upcoming films like this. He will do a great service to TN by switching over from politics to cinema permanently.

Withing 6 hours you can die if you suffer in cruelest of death penalties in those ages, the crucifixion. Crucifixion is meant to put criminals to death in those ages, like in this century they use the electric chair or hanging.
"The length of time required to reach death could range from a matter of hours to a number of days, depending on exact methods, the health of the crucified person and environmental circumstances" Source:wikipedia.
Why don't you read wikipedia and it states enough support tht jesus could have died within hours, based on the kind of intense killing tht ws done to him. Jesus ws already beaten(scourged) severly days before crucifixion w/water or food. Thts enough reason for a person to die due to dehydration later on whn crucifixion ws conducted.
A person can die due to crucifixion w/in minutes also b.c of asphyxiation. So clearly read your own source, before stating some random statmnts.
