Dont rate tamil music any more,It is all junk Rarely a few songs come up.Tamil music was at its best during Ilayarajas time(tunes,orchestration,instrument usage,western notes blending with indian ragas) Of course lyrical content in tamil music diappeared with untimly death of Kannadasan.MSV,used this great poets words with some beautiful tunes and immortalised them Ilayaraja and MSV after them rest all very mediocre All tech produced, oriented Tamil Filim music
