Sujatha Deserves to be placed in ALL portals/Media for hie yeoman service to the world of science/literature/drama/fiction. Rediff and its readers should feel to proud to have his news published. He really made science easy by his writings. His innovative, creative, imaginations are marvellous. A great loss to the scientific world. Sane people will not ask questions like Sane Guru. Hello Sane, Please search, know more about him from internet ..and you will feel sorry to ask this question. I am sorry to write this here.

tamil is the only language that has a history of 2000 yrs....none of the other language except sanskrit should have ...the person who wrote the above sentence should not be aware of this bcos he doesnt know the history of his language....hindi is the official language in india alone whereas tamil is official in singapore, malaysia, srilanka....all the south indian languages such as kannada, telugu and malayalam are born out from tamil....okay chap.

I thought of ignoring your ignorance, but could'nt help it...
Is rediff a website for 'hindi speaking' population alone ?

Sujatha is quite a popular figure in Tamil Nadu and I guess he wrote the stories for Marma desam, part 1 and 2...Plus he passed out from MIT and not IIT if I am correct..

Truly, he deserves praise for what the kind of elightening stories he wrote...

I fully agree with you.

Sujatha was a great novelist and screen-play writer. Though a prolific writer on all subjects, he would be best remembered for his sci-fi short stories and novels. He would also be remembered for his crime novels and short stories involving lawyer-investigators (Ganesh-Vasanth).

But Marmadesam part 1 & 2 were not written by him. It was penned by Indira Soundarajan and not Sujatha.

My deep condolences to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.

Do you mean to say that tamil has no place in India. rediff is an Indian setup. The tamilians are as much entitled to express their viewsas any one else. Why can't you be more civilized atleast when the reference is to a departed soul.

Sane,

Did you go thru his educational Mr.Sane guru ,,He did his Engineering from IIT Madras , I hope you are educated well to know about this institute and its presence all through the world. That too his age is now 73 , just think when he would have done this engineering.

He is a TAMILIAN ,,i really hate the word which you had mentioned " that too a tamil one"... I can bet you that Tamilian's have/had and also still giving a lot of contribution to the society and also the world.

I am proud to be an Indian and still more proud to be a Tamilian..

He is a great person. Just convey your respect or message over here,, don't leave any other message about other things.

I think your GK knowledge is very less. Try to read newspapers and other books to enrich yourself. If you dont know anyone try to search for information about him and after that pass the comments.I guess you know there are so many sites like Google to provide you with all informations.
