Sujatha whose words brought joy to millions of readers has left us today. It is indeed a very sad day in tamil literature history. His style of storytelling captivated and fascinated all those who read his work. The void left behind by him can never be filled. Let's all spare a moment in our busy life to honour this great man and writer. May his soul rest in peace.

Dear Satyavedula MAY HIS SOUL AND NOT SOLE REST IN PEACE!
I have read his many articles and stories. He was a great writer and have done excellent articles on mostly science based subjects. Let us pray and his soul rest in peace.
He will be remembered always for his novels, stories and made intellectual reading among the tamil people. May his soul rest in peace. Great and intellectual man.
The country has lost a master story teller and a person who demystified science and workings of the brain for the benefit of the common man. Some body should translate into english and other indian languages, his 'thalimai cheyalagam' on the workings of the brain and its enormous capacity to understand his genius. may his soul rest in peace.
is rediff a portal for noth indians? Why so late in publishing this news when other websites published the same in the early morning. Also I notice one north indian has why a tamilians is published here. Is it so?
Mr. Sujatha is an esteemed alumnus of Madras Institute of Technology(MIT Madras). He is not from IIT. Rediff should invest some time in delivering biographical data!!
