A Great Loss to Indian Society
by KRISHNAPILLAI BHASY on Feb 28, 2008 04:57 PM  Permalink

It is really shocking to know the sudden demise of Sri.Rangarajan alias Sujatha. He was such pleasing personality. He had Inculcated the reading habit in the minds of youngsters. Tamil Literature has lost a great son. It will be very difficult to fill the vaccum. His knowledge in almost all subjects is admirable. The Government of India should honour him.

sujatha .... a superb personality
by SundaraRajan K on Feb 28, 2008 04:53 PM  Permalink

I read almost all his novels, short stories and other articles written in weekly magazines etc. I was very much impressed by his story "Nylon kayiru" / Nylon rope and must have all his novels a number of time. His punch line in his story is always the last para or even the last line. Fascinated by him I named my daughter 'Sujatha'

loss
by Navneet on Feb 28, 2008 04:53 PM  Permalink

Its a great loss for Tamil and modern tamil literature. He is one man who is ahead of times. He talked about the emergence of computers when computers were seen only in englsih movies.

Who can replace him ?
by S Aravind on Feb 28, 2008 04:52 PM  Permalink

Am a great fan for his fast and stylish writing. All of us in ourfamily are great followers of his writing style. Even the latest "Katradhum-Petradhum" in Vikatan was great to read.

Who will the Tamil litreature world can write Science fictions like him. It is a great loss for the Tamil readers.

I learnt a lot of scintfic things from his
" Yen..yedharkku..Yeappdi"...Who can write such things in Tamil in the future.

What will happen to shankar-rajini's ROBO without Sujatha ?

May his soul rest in peace. ....Aravind
