About Jaya Bachenan's comment
by jessy thomas on Sep 08, 2008 04:05 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What she told totally rubbish. We speak in Hindi because it is our national language. She herself lowered infront of the public. I thought she was a lady some dignity.

actually it was not required bcos when a thing is on in a particular way then why create embarrasment for everyone & create controvsy over spoken language. i will refer it as words of an INEXPERIENCED & UNTRAINED POLITICIAN.
India is one.

speak understandably
by R Balasubramanian on Sep 08, 2008 04:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

there is a saying as to it is not what you speak but how you speak.
Language used depend on the mass gathered at the venue. If locals, yes Hindi being national language and understandable is acceptable. Still local language will definitely have an edge over other language. But dragging language with the state is not in good taste particularly with Jaya Bachhan considering her position.Unnecessary provocation.

the Marathi wave in mumbai and Maharashtra is nothing but anew ruckus created by the most destructive political parties shiv sena and MMS. What will it be proved by speaking in martahi.
Just want some political mileage.

The hypocrites siv sainks who are shouting so much Marathi marathi ... they wer the first to organize the Micheal Jackson some in mumbai in which they distributed free tickets to so many people

They should be lashed publicly

I agree with this..and even i am against MMS, but as far as jaya bachan is concerned,,she made a big mistake..she should have spoken in hindi all the matter related to the release of drona,,then nobody would have been pravoked,,but why she said deliberately that we are from UP so we will speak in hindi..She spoiled the image of her husband who is highly dignified personallity.
