what if this perticular function would have been in south or eastern state, would she had spoken in hindi only? It is not that everybody should speak only in regional language but it is about showing some respect about the place where you are earning your bread and getting fame?

You can ask your Raj (Khaj) thackray to pressurise Maharashtra Govt for stoppin bollywood operation from mumbai/maharshtra. all bacchans will move out of mumbai on thier own.
that under the name of Democracy you started talking shit and take people of Maharashtra or rather Maharashtrians for granted. This is a new gimmick played by her to make some name in politics which she has recently joined (although it is only known by such gimmicks to be in the limelight). But maybe she is not aware that such acts will only defame her. Infact not just her, it will defame her own son's career since she has taken Drona's music release as a platform to announce such demeaning talks. Drona will get the maximum box office collection from Maharashtra and not UP thats by default. But what if all of us show our disapproval of her statements by urging others to ban the shows of Drona? Has she ever given it a thought what would happen to the box office collection then? If she wants to play by fire she should be ready to get singed. Its high time that every Maharashtrian realises their own worth and starts kicking out such people who think they are living in UP and not Maharashtra. Stop giving examples of what would happen if she would have said this in Chennai or TN or any of the Eastern States. "Start setting examples instead of giving ones"

What is the meaning of " I am from UP so I will do what I want"? Isnt this total dadagiri or behengiri in other words meant to ruffle some feathers in the political circles for some cheap publicity and a wrong timing to prove her point? Currently Mrs.Jaya Bacchan is not even 50% of what she was in her silver screen era...today people remember her more as a superstar's wife rather than the character Guddi she had so nicely played? Is she trying to get mileage out of such cheap acts...if that is the case I just think what would happen if all Maharashtrians speak such language as hers - would she feel safe to live here then? She might since she has Z security but has she given any thought to the lakhs of poor and decent people who have come here to make a living and see this city as a city of dreams? Does she take the moral of destroying their dreams before they are even realised or dreamed by making such statements? We, the people of Mumbai have made these filmstars what they are today. Marathis of Maharashtra have taken everything lying down thinking mumbai to be a cosmopolitan city but such statements can really take us to her path in no sheer time...we are adjusting by nature but that doesnt mean any one can come and make rules as per their wishes. Its time we Marathis start raising our voices for our rights and language. We need to show these people their proper place after years of lifting them on our shoulders. Hey common ,don't ask that by speaking only in Marathi or force someone to speak ur regional language is the only way to show some respect about a paprticuler place,.. But mr KHAJ takrey can't understand it...
If Jaya Bachhan is so driven by her love for UP where she does not reside, she has no right to blame Raj and other Maharashtrians to protest within their state and love Marathi.
