Jaya has to apologise
by Mash on Sep 08, 2008 04:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Who is this Jaya Bachchan? What she thinks of herself? How can she insult Marathi language like this? Noone has opposed her to speak in hindi as it is our national language but she said this arrogantly for insulting Marathis. In every state the regional language must get the prior respect. Amitabh says he respects constituion & his wife behaves completely contrast to it. It was the constitution who diffrentiated states on the basis of language spoken. Also his son Abhishek has given the'Idea' to Birla for that idiot ad 'Jiska number Mumbai ka, woh Mumbai ka'. What they think of themselves? Are they lord or what? Can u apply same advertisement to Paki & Bangladeshi Jihadis, as they also must be having Mumbai SIM card. Bachchan family is losing respect rapidly & they don't know what they r doing. BTW Jaya Bachchan don't have any identity now. If not Amitabh's wife, she must have not been even remembered by anyone like past old heroines. Whole Bachchan family is losing control in the company of maulan Mulayam & mullavi Amar Singh.

If Jaya had insulted Marathis what Bal Thakrey and his clan done to people from north India. Calling Biharis as Bimari and what not? Remember, the verbal attack was not on few people or selected people, it was an attempt to humiliate entire community or residents.

If Jaya has no identity without Big B then who know Raj without Thakrey?

Jayabachan's statement
by ANA SUJAYA on Sep 08, 2008 04:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The statement does n't taste good, even if she has not indented to cast any stigma on non-UP Indians. Hindi is not only spoken in UP but elsewhere. Better that she understands speaking is not important it is communicating. I work with so manu UP people, who communicate to their colleagues from elsewhere in the other person's language. Hence the statement cannot be generalised as the view of all UP personnel. UP is very much the part of India as are other states and Hindi is also so much important to India as are other languages. I feel sorry for her such a statement. It undermines only her and none else

I think this the best theis family can do to gain popularity and be at center of discussion in media. We should speak Hindi as it is our national language and not as we are from a particular state of India.
Again this may spark the probloem that North Indians are facing in Maharashtra over marathi.

I sick and tired of this language drama in India...language is for communication and not to express your loyalty....a gujrati/kannada/tamil etc terrorist communicates in his language so is he more patriotoc than who speak hindi in maharashtra....

Gujarati/Tamil/Kannada terrorist ?
Right, man. Everyone is an anti national except North Indians. Anybody who is against Hindi is a terrorist and anybody who doesnt like North Indian is an anti national.
Mulayam, Laloo, Paswan, Mayawati are great patriots.
Great logic you people have.

True... Hindi is our national language. But above all the language is meant for better communication. So, one should always try to use the language of majority where you are speaking for the convenience.

Mrs. Jaya Bachchan's statement seems nothing but an act of leg pulling (... remember past comments from Mr. Bal Thackery)at wrong place.

Media should restrain from making hype of these little things of no use.

what if this perticular function would have been in south or eastern state, would she had spoken in hindi only?
It is not that everybody should speak only in regional language but it is about showing some respect about the place where you are earning your bread and getting fame?

Mr. tc... respect doesn't come from the language you choose to speak ... but it comes from your way of talking, actions, intentions and manners etc.

one can speak in any language where ever in india....till you get your message through in a decent manner....if it is a gujrato function in Mharashtra whats the harm in speaking in gujrati....language is for communbiactyion and not for exhibiting loyalty to state...the love ofr india should come from with in and not by languages...if a guy falls off a local Mumbai train give him a helping hand that is love doesn't matter if you comfort him in Hindi or marathi...he only understands language of love
