Your hatred for srk seems to be higher then your love for Akshay. Please don't give genralized statements srk also gave good movies like swades and chak de india and he will always be remembered by the millions who love hin and not because jealous people always try to bring down the successful ones.

Message was wrong. I mistyped it. Here I go again
I do not know how the movie is but Man Raja, what a wonderful review! Dil khol ke kya likha Baap. Where do you get such references and words as Omerta?

I'm all for Amitabh and very clear that Akshay, the sadak-chaap, hero can only be compared with blokes like Govinda.. All can be said is that he's been luckier than Govinda... To get into a bit of detail, just list out all the movies that Govinda has done (ones that were hits) and list them against what Akshay has been doing in the last 1-2 years (one that were hits). Don't you see what all others see??? If not, god help you...
Why people have started hating SRK suddenly. Just put your hands on your hearts and you definitly know from inside that it wouln't have been easy for any other to make DLDJ (or Veer Zaara, Yes Boss, Baazigar, even comedies like Badshah) hit effortlessly.
These are all different kind of roles. Akshay is doing good in interviews etc, he has been all diplomatic and playing his cards very intelligentlly, which is good. Other people should learn from him that how to say things without saying and without looking ridiculus. Just be diplomatic and at the same time act nice and humble in front of people, which is the quality that wins people. Because nobody knows and cares about what's inside of any person unless that person is a friend or a relative. So, SRK and Salman Khan should learn that how to be very careful in projecting yourself once you are outside of your house.

Yes, Akshay's is the new joker in b-town and can be a successor to Govinda.. Katrina's acting anyway is much worse than Karishma. So, Akshay-Katrina are the new Govinda-Karishma...

Did you see the movie? Was it really pathetic? Looks good from the review. If we go to Bollywood movies and watch them as Bollywood movie, we might like it. I am not judging you, Man. You might be right too.

The movie sucks, folks. I too bought into the hype and was regretting it within the first few minutes of the movie. Sat through a few more minutes hoping that the hype is for true but alas it wasn't... Finally got exasperated and walked out... I'd say go for something like a 'Dark Knight' which would be a much, much better choice.

ok-ly funny, ok-ly executed, but pointless movie. 2 stars max ie. not bad. 'rocking' is something else which this movie isnt. 'rocking' is like TZP. To me Akshay kumar has very little class and Katrina Kaif reminds me of my ex :)

hehe 'Ram M'.. Just to add to your comment 'Akshay kumar has very little class', i'd say Akshay Kumar is all crass! I still don't know how can people rate the movie beyond 1.5* to ammax of 2*! Can't believe that people have such lowly tastes...
As already mentioned film s already a blockbuster and that Akki was 12 carat gold. But the emphasis on Akshay's comparison with SRK makes it look like a SRK film. MAybe indirectly people want to judge Akshay against SRK and thatsy they re watching it hoards. So is it bcos of SRK that this film got a historic opening? I hope he does nt end up as being as another Govinda or Sunny Deol. In 90's they were challenger to SRK, but they both crumbled under their own self bcos they could not do anything other than their usual self. Then it was Hrithik , who moved back in background and then ther is Aamir khan who keeps saying and doing silly things just to stay in limelight. Sadly he is nowhere close to SRK. So where does Akki go from here .. Can he hold his own against the might of SRK? Well I find AK a very relaxed person who does exude alot of flexibility so Yes I think this feature makes unique to above mentioned actors. Besides there is enough work for everyone. I am sure both SRK and AK can exist at the same time in the industry. Both SRK & AK deserve all the praises.
Good or bad, even with a Sikh protagonist, this film is at least chilled out and does not dabble in Dishooom Dishooom. It does not promote violent image of Sikh community fostered by monotonous acts of people like the Deols. Thankfully our country has moved on and with more education Sunny's movies have been wiped out of the market. So those of you who have nt seen wonderful punjabi movies done by Harbhajan Mann (singer), SIK is a good introduction to the fact that we can laugh at ourselves gracefully and can make you laugh without hurting anyone's feelings. We re not blood hounds as shown by Sunny's films. Congrats to the team of SIK for creating the characters Happy Singh & Tony Singh.

This one wasn't as sensible as your next message.. I think some of us are accepting mindless crap called 'Singh is Kingg' with an excuse of entertainment.. Frankly, the whole thing is beyond me. It seems more like a facade which people like to wear just to become one with the trend. As for Akshay, he's been around for donkeys years now and finally has delivered some hit. Catapulting him to Amitabh's league is sheer stupidity. Only people like Raja Sen (who might've been paid by Akshay for it) can do such things...
