It would workout better financials if they cast Shriya or some xyz opposite to Rajni instead paying few crores to Mrs.Ash.Film already has heavyweights like A.R.Rehman,Shankar and above all Rajni. why do you need costly dolls.
there was an article recently that Aish has turned down the offer to act in Robot as the shooting is not started and she has given the dates from last month itself. Lookslike the shoot will start after the current shoot "Kuselan" starring Rajnikanth.

well said,in any case ,the heroine has nothing much to do in a Rajini movie unlike a rare Padayappa where Ramya Krishnan had a great role opposite the superstar,OTHERWISE THEY ARE PLAYING A DANCING DOLL,BATTING EYELIDS ,SONG SEQENCES ABROAD ET ALL .SO THE HEROINE IS JUST FOR DECOR IN a Rajini film .It does not make a difference who acts as the heroine as long as she is pretty and able to dance around the aging superstar
shriya is nowhere stunning,she is good looking but not stunning,besides she is a very bad actress,she was lucky to be in shivaji otherwise its luck fot this average looking non actress,Aishwarya is definitly a good choice and Deepika is stunning,there are other actresses like Asin or probably Nayantara or even Bhavana who is pretty and tall besides a good actress

Shriya Saran is not a bad choice if choosen to act opposite Rajani. She performed well in the film "Shivaji the Boss". She is better than Deepika Padukone. But when compared to Aiswarya Rai she can't given a chance. Because Aiswarya is superior to her in beauty and acting. Any how keep doors open to Shriya Saran.And not for Deepika Padukone,who is busy in Hindi field.
