the word karnataka is derived from tamil word. earlier it was called "karu nattu tamil" and becomes karnataka... this is according to linguistics.

I saw Rajnikanth's speech in the TV and he angrily reacted to what happened in Bangalore.He spoke about hitting back the people who INDULGE in VIOLENCE...He was very severe in critising S M Krishna without naming him...I cant understand Wheredoes he Insulted Kannadigas as claimed by KRV? Its time to understand these people who creates problem. I live in Bangalore and often i come across news of KRV's taking LAW IN THEIR OWN HAND. I cant understand...Whether there is a Govt. or not, these people will decide their own course of action? Very Strange...
Lastly one thing...If people allow these elements to grow...ultimately People has to suffer and this Jokers will insult all the people in the name of religion, caste...

I honestly and most humbly wish we learn to dedicate our love and hatreds with sobriety and feel that with understanding artists and thinkers like Rajani could dedicate our distempers to enrich our divided sensibilities, as well...
