Bail Out Drama
by outspoken on Apr 08, 2008 03:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Bal Thackeray-Amitabh duel seemed to be a stage managed PR exercise to bail out MNS Raj Thugeray and pacify Big B.

All this non-sense is eating space, when Inflation is heading beyond 7 percent and even buying 1 kg rice can become a luxury. Amidst these burning issues, the dramabaji of the economically and politically well off are getting undue prominence.

Certainly Rediff needs a better news editor.

amit ji is respected superstar in bollywood .. in his interview he is telling that he is not a public representative . but he is goin to up for election for amar sing and mulayam singh. He is acting in bhojpuri but not in marathi . He is making school in up but not in maharshtra .. from 4o year public given him fame publicity , money , car and public from mumbai thay accepted him respected him . After 40 years they wants return from mr.Amitabh . Why Amitji is not doing it for maharashtra . he is purchaing a land for resor why not he is making school on it .

Amitji is physically from mumbai but he is mentally from uttar pradesh .

Marathi people aceepted lot of communities in maharshtra but these people trying to dominate marathi itself.

Today only raj asked mr amitabh what he has done for maharshtra tomarrow all peole from maharashtra will ask him the same question that "app toh 40 saal se maharashtra mein rah rahe ho , apne kya kiya marathi logo ke liye"

Another side one marathi manus "Shivaji Gaikwad" Rajnikant is fighting for his people where he is staying from last many year .

What this show Marathi manu kyalya mitala Jagto" and what about amitji "jis thali meim khate hain usimein thukte hain "

Is that represent marathi manus intellectual thinking then i must say u are very narrow minded.. first ask urself what u have done for maharshtra and marathi, den u deserve to ask anyone else, and y amitabh is oblige to answer.. he made his dream fulfilled not because marathi. his fan base in north india, all hindi speaking people not marathi..if he has done Bhojpuri movie its solely his choice not biahri people forced to do that. so u marathi manus nowadays are being misguided by some politcian. how many time marathi ask what Raj has done for maharshtra..atleaset gimme one example..so dont come here nd give judjment. wakeup and see out of window ..

If the want to come here let them.
Since they will be the majority soon, their politician too need to come here to serve them.
It is understandable.
Let Azmi and Lallooji and Amar Singh set up base here.

Mahrashtra is already worse than Bihar. Look beyond Mumbai and you yourself will agree to it. Or, should I remind you that Marathwada and Vidarbha are also regions of Maharashtra? Mumbai is Mumbai because of outsiders. If it was left to natives like you, it would also has turned into sucide capital of India.

Why should Amitabh do anything?
by Manish Shah on Apr 08, 2008 03:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why should Amitabh do anything for Maharashtra or for any other state? Is he a politican? Is he a social servant? Does he claim to represent either the state or any community?

He is contributing in whatever way any other resident of Maharashtra or Mumbai is. He is a part of the economy. he earns and spends. which is precisely what every other person is doing.

Just leave him alone.

Mrs Jaya Bacchan is MP on Samajwadi Ticket in Raja sabha.
So the family is enjoying all the benefits as either Ex or sitting MP

by SLVP on Apr 08, 2008 03:02 PM  Permalink

If large scale migration ( FOR PERMANENT SETTLEMENT )is going to change DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILE of a geographaical area, there is bound to be resentment.
Same thing is happening at ASAM also.
The political rulers of these BACKWARD STATES ( for last 60 YEARS ) are responsible for this.

raj thackery is cheap
by raj on Apr 08, 2008 02:59 PM  Permalink

raj thackery now looks very cheap. even more cheap than when he started the abuse campaign. lets ask what raj thackery has done for maharastra other than creating trouble. i doubt he has done anything outside of his profession of a politician. he has done nothing for the poor, instead he got the poor into trouble, and started the hate campaign.

Amitabh takes on Raj Thackeray
by Mahavir Kumar on Apr 08, 2008 02:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I agree completely with Mr. Bachhan. He has spoken in a gentle manner, which most of us lack. Its not Mr. Raj Thackeray for that matter, NO ONE has a right to speak or dictate anyone that where they should live. The constitution, the law permits us to live where ever we want to live. We need to think FIRST about to be an INIDAN rathan than thinking about our state or religion or caste. I am surprised WHY most of the senior most Politicians and emminent people from Industry are quiet about this. This is a serious matter of the national integrity than any of the terrorists attacks or riots.

Congrats to Amitabh! I am not a great cine-goer, nor a fan of Amitabh or Rakhi Sawant! For making such a sensible statement he has become a real hero for all those who believe that India is one country and the divisive forces which are acting against the constitution with money power and political clout have to be fought. This will be the Second War of Independence against these local rulers and every Indian should wake up and drive these evil forces out of the arena of civil society. Today I have becom the fan of Amitabh- as real life for me is more important than the reel life! Tri.

A simple question, "Aap toh 40 saal se maharashtra mein rah rahe ho , apne kya kiya marathi logo ke liye?" he recounts the benefits he has received from Mumbai! Absurd!!

He is right, he is neither answerable to anyone nor is it necessary for him to do anything for Mumbai.
It is time for Mumbaikars to realise that they have to help themselves.
