I thought Depp wz an integral part of the casting of Shantaram. Or is he jus gonna b a 4-min wonder in this ambitious work of Nair?? Item numbers hv been stretched a lil too far I guess. An actor of Depp's calibre must be given a platform far more elevated. Jus hoping to see him in an elaborate role ... Fingers crossed!!

hi pooja, johny das is indeed an integral part of the film, he is playing the role of the lead protaganist lindsay (lin). lead actors can also do item numbers in their films
