We are all watching Grand Finale on 23rd Sept 07 upto 12.35 for Results. Mr.Prashant won the crown. we are the fans of Mr Amit Paul who performed very well through out his journey. We surprised that winner has got 1 crore Rs. Where as Runner has got nothing. too ............... bad. Which is not at all correct. We decided to stop watching any programme in Sony TV.
Our Team is not accepting the way in which Runner was treated.

I agree. Not the best way to pick the best. Who ever sends the most SMS decides. Amit Pal definitely much better singer. Best to him in future and to Prashant too.

We Indians do not need advise from Bangladeshis who are busy all the time copying from Hindi Songs anyway. Even their national anthem was given to them by an Indian. So they should mind their own business. In any case Bangladeshis are busy most of the time planning bomb blasts in India, all the time feeding off the aid India sends it after each cyclone in the Bay of Bengal

YOU WILL PROBABLY SEE EMON OR AMIT MAKEING IT IN BOLLYWOOD OR ENTERTAINMENT WORLD AS SINGERS- BUT YOU WILL NEVER SEE CD'S AND SONGS BY PRASHANT AFTER INDIAN IDOL- REALITY IS PEOPLE WILL NOT SPEND THERE MONEY TO BUY SONGS SUNG BY PRASHANT. Amit has agreat timbre to his voice. Kishore Kumar was not trained. Amit will make a fabulous playback singer who understand the expressions in a song and sings with feel so important in playback.....Just wait an see him rise!!

please friend,dont make anyone disappoint.here is no one to say that amit paul is not good.he is very good.but there are many people who love prashant. i didnt use to watch indian idol but prashant made me to see it through his natural voice. dont make it a issue but the moment of happiness.

i have been watching Star Voice Of India and Sa Re Ga Ma pa also. Overall, Indian Idol does not stand up to Sa Re Ga Ma or Star Voice Of India as regards quality of singers is concerned. In fact Star Voice Of India seems to have identified the best singing talent in the country. I feel deciding on who is better on the basis of public votes has to be done away with. The judges should have the final say. I know they cant afford to do away with public voting as this is the source for their income. Nevertheless, panel of eminent judges who have knowledge on music should be the final deciders.

They can have 2 catagories of winners- viewers choice on the basis of public voting and judges' choice based on panelists views.

You are absolutely right. SVOI has a quality -- all going excellent. Everyone performing excellent. Toshi should be back in race. He had a great voice as well as expression through his voice.
Indian Idol is just a commercial show. Though I like Simon's (am I right with the name?) way of sunging. Good.
There were free phone booths for voting to Prashant. This was clearly a regional voting than the one on talent. As far as singing talent is considered, Amit Paul is the best. Lets see what happens with Sa Re Ga Ma and VOI.

lame excuse! How many police men are in kolcatta? What are the odds that they all have cell phones and they all voted for prashant? Prashant recieved 5.3 crore votes. The whole indian police force can't be more than few thousands. Stop crying!!!!!!!
