Can u imagine Shahrukh to play a role of gadaria or begger and look like one...don't tell me Naseer or Om Puri will...they sure will, but then they wont be able to play a Don or Anand's Babu Moissaire...I cannot think of any Big B movie in which he has acted bad...however bad or flopped the movie is...u try and tell me any? even from that crap era of 80's...Ajooba's and shehenshaah's.. Now for those Hollywood buff's, Holly actors are also good but most of them also cannot match the versatility...Sean Connory is media created, has a very good voice and good acting skills but u cannot imagine him doing anythn else than action...at this age not even that...Bruce willis is one good actor who can emote really well with a range of facial expressions, Clint Eastwood is great as well and then Tom Cruise is a good combination of a lot of things...but still IMO they dont match Big B...Hollywood movies are great because they put a lot of research on the topic and go through minutest details with a separate team for every aspect and then they support/guide/frame actors for the role...back in India there are very few directors who do their homework and its mostly upto actors to make up for it...most of the times I have seen actors cramming lines and speaking them expressionless, without proper punctuation, pronounciation, pauses the meaning of a sentence and its effect completely changes. Hv you heard of Anthony Hopkins/ tommy lee jones / alpachino ?. there are just few of the actors Mr amitabh bachchan copies. & if you actaully know who is clint eastwood then I am sure you know from where character "Vijay" is taken out.
