Nudity is not a shamefull issue if used against a relevent context. A human body is a wonderful creation of god/nature which if exposed in an esthatic way can be a beauty treat for the eyes of the beholder. However there is an extremely thin line of diffrence between an art watch and vulgurity which should be undertsood. the way zeenat aman was portrayed in satyam shivam sundaram was esthatic yet errotic but never cheap as the film explored the relative nuances between skin deep beauty and the goodness of the heart but rishi kapoor's exposure was totally meaningless as that had nothing to do with a simple teen age love story.
here also the same applies i havenot seen sawariya but heard about its mid way standing between an artfilm and a commercial film may be the director has his own reasons both way for the scene (no pun intended).
why din't the so called censor board chop the scene in bobby,(when rishi kapoor dropped the towel.and why r they making a fuss of this RANBHIR KAPOORS scene, is it a cheap publicity stunt ?! but afterall girls whould have loved to see Ranbhir bare back bottom. poor things ! ha ha ha

pramod, you forgot an elementary thing.. that time, Shriman Raj Kapoor had lots of friends in the Government to influence the censor board not to make it an 'A' movie. If you ask my opinion, Bobby was nothing but an Adults movie. In fact, before its release in the 70s (I was around 10 then), there were rumours that it would be an 'A' movie, but to everyone's surprise it was a universal movie. I remember lots of people guffawing and getting disgusted about Bobby being seen by young boys/girls and children unaccompanied by their parents.
nudity is an art,if it is not liked by any one then why the director is covered this scene in his film, the film shouldbe shown with "A" certificate and defenitely there willbe a mass to see this film
