thats correct. but why Rediff? every other platform which provides news in india is publishing just rubbish. yes there are few Exceptions like Tehelka. rediff.com offends on many other counts as well.
Why don't you go after the males? Govindas battle with the bulge? or Salman, Hrithiks battle with muscle building steroids ?
Rani is all natural, fun and bubbly..infact all Bengalis are bubbly and thats what gives thema charm, you make Rani thin and she won't be Rani any more she'll be a !!!NaukRani !!

Your point is not logical. The point rediff is trying to make is that Rani has put on weight which may affect her looks in a film. If Salman and Hrithik take steriods, it is to look good and more ribbed. How can that be bad? and please explain how if Rani sheds weight she will look like a naukrani? Anyway Rani is not that drop dead beautiful kind. She has always been dark and and on the heavier side.

I think she is a little more than "full-bodied"...she has a round face on top of a round body and a protruding bulge. And too much of good stuff is also no shape- only aunty shape.
The focus should be on acting and not on the kilograms!! Since acting is a visual media a good and presentable look is always desired, and much of it brought out by the personality and talent. And since when has being "bone skinny" and "famished" become the most desired look. I think most Indians find Rani beautiful and appreciate her skills and talents, no wonder she is the most popular actress and not the ( "hottest item no girl" or the " photo celebrity"). Besides is she really that fat?? Why is the rediff writer so focussed on being so superficial. Had this writer been really talented may be he/she would have landed a real journalism gig rather than this "Page 3" journalism stuff.
