Even though I am not a tamilian, I am an ardent fan of Kamal. A man with class, I have seen an very very old clip, a song sequence of Kamal and Ambika (old actress). I don't remember the song, but it was really melodious, I think by Illayaraja. It goes something like "Thattikondu...", may be I am wrong, but it has a beautiful laugh added to it (not sure if its the singer or Kamal himself). To this day I remember the tune, but dont know the lyrics nor the movie. Does any one know what it is? I would love to download it. But don't know where to start. PS. This song my tamil neighbours used to play every day when I was a kid. I love it.

The song is from "KAAKI CHATTAI"- PATTUKANNAM THOTTUKOLLA...... wheren kamal plays a role of a cop.The film was taken by sathya movies.Hope Iam correct. Regards Veeresh babu veereshlic@rediffmail.com

Probably you are saying the song "Pattukannum thottukolla ottikkollum...." from 1985 movie Kakkisattai.If its right please know that to me.
For the sake of maintaining his competitive status with Rajnikant atleast, this film should do well. No doubt, the ten roles he would have essayed would be landmark performances. But Kamal should understand that there is a new generation which has come up since he made his debut more than three decades ago.
If he appeals to them, then his film is definitely going to be a blockbuster!!

Kamal Hassan's weakness is popping up his image. Over reacting. Mostly he copies best films from the west and make some polishes to evade the idea of copying. He makes the audience to with over expectation. For curiosity sake there will be a rush for his film for a week or so. It will be more 'Hey-Ram' Producer has to repent. It will not get even 25% of money invested on it.
