I believe that language plays a pivotal role in any critique. And not many critic are good in moving the reader with his pen err...or keyboard). It goes without saying that "pen is mightier than...the camera".
Could you be little more focused on what you write? You go on and on and convey almost nothing. You indeed can make a very good critic. And our indian films SUCK BIG TIME

Dude these critics need bad films coz a good film needs no critic to review so that ppl can watch...these guys have a life only coz of these so called pathetic movies so that they lick their fingers and start off a lengthy boring chapter like the moron above!!!
Bollywood movies in general are garbage. Yet Indian film "critics" rave over them, as if they compare to foreign movies. The bigger the marketing campaign being paid for, the more likely the "critic" will gush over the film.

i disagree. Bollywood movies reflect the state of things in their environment. LuckyKabutar
when the majority of the audience went gaga over surya's performance and the movie GAJINI became the one of the biggest grosser, you felt that this movie was bad..... a CRITIC is like a representative of the people's feelings. If someone feels differently from the majority of the audience, he should not be given the job of reviewing the movie.....If you do, then only the critics are called retards....

Well said manikantan .Agree with yr views..Critics must represent the mindset of a general audience and , bit of addition of finer details and observation will do no harm.
And if he is caught single with his obscure and erratic observations then he is doing no good by writing the reviews..I feel times of india team makes a good reviewer.
