The idea of listening to Gandhi's book is beautiful. I thought it will be like some drama or play but it was almost like reading a book. Only thing, we were listening to it.

I agree. it was very emotional listening to this book. But I wish it was the whole book. Is that also available in audio form?
Just heard the audiobook. It was amazing. As Einstein says, generations to come will scarcely believe that such a man like this walked this earth. Listening to the audio version was great.

If only Advani & co had led congress we would have still been slaves to the british ! Instead of fighting for freedom he would have been praising Churchill & Mountbatten just like he did Jinnah in pakistan !

Advani and Co are the bigger A**H0les. And so are the friking Left commies. But my point is that Gandhi's philosophy of non violence was a total failure. Britain was bruised and basttered after the world war and had to no other option but to leave India. Had Gandhi sided with the Revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh and Azad, we wud've been free a lot earlier. Instead the moron calls him as sarfira sardar and what not. Also he called off the first Non coop movement when a few ppl burnt down a police station killing 17 ppl and this old stupid ar*e sympathised with the british. How could he forget that it was these britishers who Killed over thousand of innocent men, women and children in jallianwala bagh. Nathuram shud've been born 50 years earlier.
This is the first time I was listening to a book and it was a worthwhile experience. I have read the book several times but I like this too. The price is very reasonable.
My compliments to Charkha Audiobooks for this wonderful presentation of Gandhi's autobiography. I could never have imagined that an audiobook could provide such an inspiring experience. Thank you rediff for bringing this to us
