I am a boxer and i am very very happy to see serial on Boxing. Mr. Vijay Parimo I will see it every day. When its going to be start and on which channel?
In Hindi TV serials only saas bahu jagadaa!!! But Vijay thought different. One more thing Vijay Parimo selected Shobha, a Kannada TV star. In Hindi film and TV south talent should get chance.
I am one of the kannada directer and earlier i am an assistant. I have seen may of the serials of Shobha Lolanath. She played good rolls in 'Lalee', 'Chandrika' and 'Thake you saru'. I am happy that Hindi producer Vijay Parimoo selected hear to Hindi TV serial 'The champion'.
I agree with comments on Shobha jee photo with makeup. In Hollywood film 'rocky' a men boxer also in makeup. In boxing ring also he used lite lipstick.
Its good to see the women boxer on Indian TV serial. I am very locking for women fitting in men's RING. Knockout the men from boxing ring. Show the Indian women that 'Women also box' in ring and also outside the ring.
First i congratulate the Vijay Parimoo and his production company Famous studio. It is greate to see different story on Indian TV.
I hope the movie has a good story and the actress does justice to the role...hopefully it will be indias 'million dollar baby' if we ask her to begin acting like a boxer by removing her lipstick first!!

Mr Yugandhar. Shobha Jee photo may not be taken on boxing ring. As an actress she has to be in makeup. If you not know about how Film and TV sariels shoot go on. I will tel you every actor should be in makeup it is necessary too! In sum art movie only makeup is not compulsory. This is the TV serial not and art film or documentary on Women Boxer.
