Must see Goal
by falguni on Nov 27, 2007 05:25 AM  Permalink

Must see Goal cuz of Mr. Sen. He loved OSO!!!
OSO can be the biggest hit in mankinds history, I dont care, ...it claims to be "entertaining, a funny parody"...which part was funny..."apahij ka pyar" when SRK mocks a person in a wheelchair, or when a bratty, arrogant SRK tells his secretary to shove a thermometer up his body parts?? or saying "fish off" in that dumbed down fake accent...substituting words for profanity just isnt that cool dude!!

oh yes i have a sense of humor...i loved munnabhai, golmaal to name a couple...i also loved swades, even don was fun as was main hoon na, and i'm sure goal will be fun too...but oso...very, very offensive and distasteful. poor deepika, she was nice.

I saw this movie DHAN DHANA DHAN GOAL with my family. I think rating given by Mr. Raja Sen is justified. John Abraham and Arshad Warsi needs improvement in acting and dialogue delivery. Bipasha is a sheer waste.Better to watch Chak de India or Iqbal.

Put some fire into your pen....and brains into your mind Rediff !
by ruby ruby on Nov 26, 2007 07:08 PM  Permalink

I think this reviewr needs ot be replaced ....Not only is this review itself a challenge to the brain but also is it every bit disagreeable and untrue.

The movie Goal is a well made film with hardly any loop holes. The theme is fine, the performances are cool, the actors are just right, the sentiment behind making it seems to eb correct and the movie si interesting for sure....

Infact its shocking to find a film like Om shanti om topping the charts...its ridiculous, and ptience trying to obnoxious levels...

Inspite of being a HUMUNGUS SRK fan ...i still confidently say the movie was real bad taste for the producer, director, actors and viewers who loved it.

Goal is anytime anyday worth it as compared to a jerk re-birth, ressurection avenging story like OSO

Is this a review!
by crazy spelunker on Nov 26, 2007 06:05 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Was that my yesterday's dinner or just another psychosomatic attack due to a wild piece of nonsense written on a site I respect. This is the most inane piece ever written and I am not even getting to say if the movie is good or bad. One review that gave me more headache than the movie itself. Aaaargh!! The perils of over-education in English as a language!!! Probably the reviewer forgot the most important use of language - Communication!!

Most Stupid Title Ever??!
by Sussane . on Nov 26, 2007 05:30 PM  Permalink

Oh and this film may be a serious contender for one of the most stupid titles EVER. I wouldn't pay to see this anyway, but you certainly wouldn't catch me a any BO counter requesting tickets for such a childish and silly sounding movie!!

Raja is Right
by Sussane . on Nov 26, 2007 05:24 PM  Permalink

I totally agree wih Raja Sen. These Bollywood filmi morons need to research the nuances/culture/accent/lifestyle/psyche of a country before attempting to portray it's people in a movie and so far NO Hindi film has done that. They always end up making the host nation look like retarded aliens with no attempt at even understanding how people live or speak here, replying heavily on innaccurate stereotypes and whatever little they can grasp of that country's films, or on general notions and misconceptions. MORONS!
