Forget about the review by self proclaimed critic rajasen,i wonder whether his staying and playing sport in britain has anything to do with his love for "DIVERSE" britain. He must be kidding or must be in some blind love with the great britishers.Obviously racism and colour bias exists in britain even now since the times they colonised and enslavened rich and thriving nations like india.Yes on surface it shows multi cultured and all- embracing but you must ask the same sport stars you mentioned in your review who admitted to colour bias in many of their interviews. Also they do accomodate panesars in their sport and scottish gordon browns in running their country but all to their advantage.Because the fact is that there is also a scotland cricket team, apart from england team though both are part of UK.For the discrimination they make among the fair skinned people itself, one need to visit scottish museum in edinburgh and also wales, the other part of this UK. People like Rajasen who applaud Britain are certainly among those who use words like HUMANITARIAN-HUMAN RIGHTS etc even for a scratch caused to INDIA harming haters, terrorists and criminals. And about Rajasen-the critic,he is bad even in his profession, since OSO is strictly OK,not a masterpiece to get the rating he gave, and me being SRK fan, this is as frank an opinion as could be. SO don't look for content in GOAL,but we as people facing a sensitive issue like racism should definitely encourage it for the concept
hey..... these reviews can be used in treating patients with extreme stress disorders and in anger management just to see their limits of endurance....I am sure no one will pass the test if this is put as a test in anger management

from the beginning i have thought of john as a greased plucked chicken and he even walks like a rooster with his neck stuck out at all times. wish somebody would straighten out his neck and give him a good shampoo bath. his hair looks like you can squeeze out 1ltr oil. i hate guys who wax their bodies and john seems to be the emperor of waxing. i dont think even bips waxes as much as he does. the lines on his forehead are like steps. he has only 3 expressions. forehead up with all the steps, head down with eyes up, and a one sided smile that nearly closes one eye and keeps the other wide open. he should have stayed on the ramp. a greased plucked chicken or rather rooster indeed!!!
I saw Goal.. its a pleasant movie... not as bad as made by Raja. But in these discussions people are always bringing OSO comparisons. Wat i dont understand is Raja is a normal person and he has liked OSO over Saawariya... But that is same for millions of Indians who made OSO a all time block buster... So why r we only blaming Raja... For me saawariya was a better movie than OSO.. And i have no regret to accept it; all its about my individual choice..

But you r not a rediff reviewer..If you start publishing your irrationaly choices and views. without giving objective comments, then even you will be shredded into pieces the way Raja is. No one is stopping you from having a personal choice, but as a professional movie reviewer, your personal biases should not be infulencing your work

The point you make is right in a perspective that allows a critic to be unbiased and I agree to that... but then again if that solely is the case , then reviewing a movie unbiased , needs several aspects to be taken into account...one of them being its mass appeal....So maybe there Raja sen was right in reviewing OSO (even may not be completely right) as the box office collections reflect that aspect of mass appeal and commercial entertainment....Not that I agree with Raja sen or like his reviews(I am in as much criticism of him as you are) but then there is always a human element of bias in every profession ...So again it might not be completely irrational but at the same time it is biased.....

Dear friend,it's also thanks to great marketing hype by the media and film makers and critics like rajasen who can make or break a masterpiece....though many of those millions of indians are also to be blamed by allowing all these cunning strategists to lead their opinions and for trusting these guys advice without watching or using their own judgements

Neelima,I couldnt agree with you more..the guy is a reviewer and not a critic....he lacks professionalism as he only comments on the story...movie is more than just story...like music, background score,cinematography,acting,direction,script,narration....and frankly....going by professional meter, OSO lacks the main ingredient--plot... Raja (IN)sen....we have to ask u to Chuck(out of here)de....and let some professional guy come to comment...Rediff guys...dont make this review section a place for gossipping and amateur reviews...ask that Raja (In)sen to get some life!

I agree with you mithun....But I still guess many here including myself are subconciously biased and are not that different from Raja sen... That probably explains their criticism irrlevant to the topic here...So it still is an individuals choice....
A thought crosses my mind every time I read his reviews as it being so unberable and also testing my tolerance level to the core, I still manage to go through the utterly misguiding detructive criticism and his derogatory remarks on the people involved..But then I give up as I watch ekta kapoor serials as well which do the same....So it is just a case of being curious to actually and see how much more disgusting can the review get...Believe me...majority of the people here have been critics of Raja sen in the past and still read his reviews not because we regard and take into account the point is he is trying to make in his review but just resolve our curiosity of seeing the depths to which this rajasen cr can take the art of reviewing a movie . everyone really enjoys that and the rajasen bashing thereafter
