sawariya is like a fairy tale..its one of the best movie made in indian cinema and we should thank mr sanjay leela bhansali for making such a brilliant movie..i have watched it twice and the whole theatre was packed and almost stunned by the beauty of sawariya ..guyz u will love this movie...watch it...stronly recommended
Pls dont make the mistake of watching Sawariya. Its bad to say the least. It has been shot brilliantly and every frame has been treated with beauty but all these do not make the film watchable. The entire theatre was laughing away. I only feel sad for sonam and ranbir coz they were good. wish they had a better launch.

grow up people. i thin ur taste is of watching 2 grate, or 3rd grade movies. thats alrite bt alteast respect a film lie saawariya if u dont lie it. U have no right to criticise in such a pathetic manner.
I went to see this movie with the love of my life.... the best part of the movie was INTERVAL when we could go out and have some bhelpuri coupled with coke for each other.... The only dialogue i remember in those 2 and half hours is when i girl-friend told me 'you are my Salman' (she dint say Ranbir, the lead actor)..... The movie also comes with zinx, as when we came out of the theatre we saw my bike was punctured..... avoid it

May we know why are we being inflicted with the sad story of your private life. If I had a girl friend who said things like 'you are my salman' to me I would die of embarrassment there and then. But I would never ever have the guts to make it public! And then what the f**k do we care of you had bhelpuri and shared a coke (cheapskate ek coke nahi pila sakta apni girlfriend ko?). i thin u guys shud only stick 2 sad old formula films which is kiling our film industry which is nt helpin 2 make any progres. thats d type of cinema u like. Lean 2 apreciate a change and saawariya has bring a new age cinema.
I have not seen the movie but am sure that if Raja has given it 1.5 then it must be worth 3-3.5. This has been proved in many of his previous reviews like Bhool Bhulaiya.
Raja does not understand the pulse of Indian audience. All love stories are not practical. Most love stories are fantacy aith lot of feel good give happiness factor.
Ahh..SLB is the same immatured arrogant NUT who said that Kunal Kohli was an overrated director (with that gay's show called "Koffee with Karan") after the commercial success of the movie Fanaa. Does he mean that the movie goers are idiots to like this movie? The same audiences are rejecting his overhyped movie in darkness called "Saawariya" now. SLB, please note that there are only handful of people who find some illusive magic in your movies. For most of us your movies are just a fantasy, unrealistic and perhaps help to get us a good night sleep (sadly in a movie hall).

Sawariya is a good movie. These people have got nothing to write correctly and pass time on writing such mails. I would advise you one thing. Please write correctly and do not over hype the things. Because it is ultimately public like you only which gets affected.
So, only advise is to write correct, otherwise do not write anything and spend your time in some good activity or where you can be useful.

I still dont understand why people dont like the darkness... now just consider a movie about 4 nights shot in full brightness... I think saawariya was out your range as a 'movie-wathcer'.. try silly ones like Dhol etc and you will enjoy... regards

very nice movie.Saawariya by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is rich in visuals, arguably the best Indian film with such stunning cinematography, brilliant acting by the two newcomers and a completely different genre of storytelling. The narration is a first of its kind in In...(read more)dia and may not connect with everyone, hence the huge amounts of criticism the film is receiving. This is a difficult film to make, and Mr.Bhansali does it with conviction. Special mention of Ranbir and Sonam, who have protrayed such difficult roles with brilliance! Music my Monty is full of melody and the bacground score adds class to the film. The only flaw in my opinion is the film's lenght. Overall, Saawariya is a top class product from the most celebrated director of our country. Indian cinema needs a revival and to go global, this is just what films like Lagaan, Swades, Black and Saawariya are doing. 5 out of 5.
