Bhansali's Devdas was one of the biggest headache of all times. Poor Sarat Chandra would have turned in his grave a 100 times
i am a big fan of Sanjay Bhansali and love his kind of cinema the man who gave us b a brilliant khamoshi which i feel is his best work till date fails big time this time around. The film lacks pace and the songs break the flow of the story the screeplay is the biggest drawback and the on the whole Saawariya is confusing. Ranbir does brings some bright moments but his expressions are over the top, sonam is here to stay she is the next big thing in bollywood no doubt abt it. the art director was given full freedom and he did justic but too much blue will work against his favour. but Sanjay Bhansali fails his midas touch has gone hope he finds it back. And raja sen plz be true to yourself while reviewing Om shanti Om as u did with Sawaariya
Raja sen is a good chap. He got my approving nod when I red his review of Johnny Gaddar. Thats something of a good, crispy, straight movie with no trumpet blowing "work of art" claims.
May be the carpentary work of saawariya with its blue card board looks is the idea of " work of art" for bhansali.
Sawariya may not be that good but then dont go by this guy's reviews.So far all the big movies he has reviewed so far,80% of them have done well.Check Bhool Bhulaiya,Hey Babyy etc.All i can say,is its upto us whether we wanna depend on idiots like Raja to make our decisions or we are smart enough to realize for ourselves or (Dumb, if the movie bores and crib about the money spent on it) Enough people! Believe in yaself, your opinion,your decision.People like Raja are doing nothing,making money out of us!
