Another plesant visuals from SLB, but this time it lacks passion. I found the sets too colorful and tentalising. But Ranbir Kapoor's acting is not good. The movie lacks pace, and you will find yourself watching HDDS again. Its mixture of HDDS and Devdas.
So nothing new in this film, except great visuals. It is difficult to sit through the 1st half. If you are a movie buff, you will say it is a complete dissaster. If you watch movie occasionally you may find it okay.
I don't want to put harsh comments on new comers, but this year "Neil Mukesh' will get the best new comer award.

Please don't bias people. God's sake write what is truth. I hav not seen OSO, but Sawariya sucks! My Diwali ruiined with Cricket match defeat and Sawariya.

Seriously this is so indifferent atitude of yours - the article is about review of saawariya. People like me who have not seen OSO.. u have destroyed the excitement, by narrating the whole plot. Nywaz thanks for your highly spiteful narration..lol enjoyed it thoroughly but will still go for the movie.. cheers:)

I have watched the movie and surprisingly it is one of the worst movie I had ever watched. I watched the first day first show (Adelaide, Australia) and Banshali disappointed me. I am sure this would be the biggest flop of the year. Please don't waste your money and time.

Well, i was eager to read the review for this movie and then i saw that its written by this infamous critic Mr Raja Sen. I completely lost interest in reading through and I spared myself the torture. Instead I saw his rating. Since the movie (fortunately) got low ratings by this reviewer I would bet on watching it and I have a strong feeling that the movie might be quite good. I will repost in this forum to indicate if I was wrong. A request to the readers is NOT to go by this review and watch the movie. Mr Sen has profound illusions about what is good and what is bad

What is rediff doing asking unworthy people like Raja Sen to do movie reviews! He just can't do reviews! It seems like he is more interested in grammar/word choice than the actual review. Raja, go and get another job.

sawariya is a superb movie..one of its kind..ever made in the history of inian cinema...i watched it here in sydney and i can say sawariya is magical...u will fall in love with this movie...wotta work by sanjay leela bhansali and art dir omung kumar...guyz this movie is awesome.....dont miss it....go and watch it,,,,and about om shanti om...this movie sucks,,,srk is looking not only ugly but the whole movie suckss...Om shanto om is out and out B grade movie only for the front benchers in india,, Watch Sawariya...its a magicla movie.....u will fall in love with ranbir and sonam...dont go for the stupid review..think urself..sawariya is such a big budget movie by ace directoy sanjay bhansali and the launch pad of Ranbir kapoor.son of rishi kapoor and grandson of the fathe rof india cinema raj kapoor...go n watch it....5 out of 5 star for sawariya...ranbir kapoor rocks..i love u

I think the movie was a absolute disaster....It was one of Sanjay leela Bhansali's worst movie so far....it had a copy of all his previous movies...he was not at all original...it was bits n pieces of HDDCS, Devdas n so on...just like the blue colours totally glorified in the movie, the movie was also BLUE
