Mesmerised is the word. It's a well made movie. And surely deserves a better rating. Most of the reviews about the film are utter crap. Saawariya is a GOOD MOVIE.
i love sawarian but story is very simple.jo kam 50lac main ho sakta tha bansali ne us 50 crore lga diae.lekin shyad us ke bager mza na aata.har ek scene main bansali g ki shap nazar aati hai,ranbir is good actor.sonam is ok.SET IS ULTIMATEM.jab film ka end hua to main 10 minute tak seet se uth hi nahi paeea.i was fully shocked to c the this type of end.film is suprb end ka mza aagya aissi himmat bansali jesa director hi dikha sakta hai.

Hey folks we feel its one of the most beautiful movie in this fast paced world , RANBIR & SONAM were absolutely a pleasure in their debut roles. Sanjay is a great visionary there was so much of feelings in the movie which we hardly find in todays movies . For a change we were glad to not see any violence ,guns, racism problems, family melodramas. I think it is a movie with a wonderful message that give happiness so what if ur a loner, we were reminded of RAJ KAPOOR movies .Its absolutely ridiculous to compare the two movies Sanjay is too ahead of Farah & Group this is their second movie,SAWARIYAA is class whereas OSO is a copy of all the old classics, so now in this world of remixes its high time we appreciate a different thing

Man you sure have a shallow understanding of films. The film is pretentious and soulless. Its a monumental blunder. You almost feel like asking the director for a refund. abhijit
Guys the movie is so wonderfully made appreciate the hardwork of SLB away frm the regular romantic movies of running around trees, imagine so neat clean movie about LOVE in todays world, both the debut RANBIR SONAM were so good what they have done even todays established actors cant do.one of those movies which people would remember for all their lives. I rate it 4 STAR. Rani was too good .In todays selfish world this movie gives u msg of spreading happiness. Dont miss it
It's utterly unfair to the film The rediff review is unnecessarily harsh and critical. Sawariya has a fairytale musical kind of a opening which sets the mood of the movie. Its obviously not meant for the masses who feed on instant gratification. Ranbir Kapoor is outstading who entertains in every frame. A definitely enjoyable flick

You are right, Vinita. Reviews about Saawariya are harsh and misleading. And suprisingly not just Rediff, even IBN also gave it a 1/5 rating. I cant help laugh at the people who gave the movie such a *poor* rating. Guess audiences prefer 'instant gratification' to 'cinematic brilliance'. Too bad these stupid reviews are hurting the movie. Please watch SAAWARIYA. You will love it, unless you are an ardent fan of 'Bollywood Masala'.
Uff... I thought rediff finally had done away with Raja Sen.. But alas, the invincible Mr Sen is back. Atleast Sanjay Leela Bansali would be smiling.. Raja Sen giving 1 and half star means movie is going to be samsh hit.. I'm sure the movie is good enough to get 3 stars.. No wonder if in times it gets rated as a classic masterpiece.. Its astethically sothing and atleast miles away from the way other romantic movies are made.. please go and watch the movie its an exp in itself..

dear lagta hai tumne film ko achi taran se nahi dekha.ise dekhne ke liae ek parkhi nazr hona jarrori hai
i saw saawariya on next day of release. house is full and im excepting a cool and good romantic movie but after watching ohh my god! its is same like jhoom baraber jhoom there is no leg no head in movie a fully shit.everyone is saying tat songs r lovely but only 3 or 4 songs are good and in a begining of movie there is a 2 songs ohh its so boring a boys sitting around me abousing ranveer because he is singing song continusely in a movie i think may be 6 songs r before intervals and we r wishing tat when movie will end and ater end everyone claps to thnx for (the end ) and i over heard in theatre that its wastage of money as well as time and om shanti om is better then this junk

Please dont write about things which you dont understand. The movie is excellent. Guess you weren't in a very good mood when you saw the movie, as well as when you wrote this totally hilarious review. LOL
Saw Saawariya....its gorgeous. For people who love to read, who get lost in make believe worlds like Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley in Harry Potter, or the fantasy world of the Hobbit, this movie is a must.You dont question its magic, you simply enjoy it. The climax leaves you filled with a deep sense of longing, and I think this is where the audience feels let down. They are supposed to. The injustice of Ranbir's loss is supposed to make you feel powerless. It is like losing the jackpot by one number. The unmoving, sullen Sakina who almost has you fooled when she shows glimpses of a childlike girlishness ultimately lets your hopeful besotted hero down. You just get a glimpse of Iman(Salman) to be happy for her.(It is Salman after all!!), but not so much that it takes away from Ranbir's heartbreak. The two new stars are fabulous. Their inexperience only adds to their fresh appeal and makes them more endearing to the viewer. Ranbir has that star quality, he can achieve anything from this point on. Sonam is absolutely unique. In a world where all the girls look like they are manufactured from a plastic assembly line with the streaked hair, the blindly-aping-western-fashion look, this girl is such a stunner. I am now looking forward to seeing OSO. Us desis in the USofA are too happy to get a double bonanza to care about taking sides. why choose when you can have it all??
this rating when i saw movie third time,actually i did not sleep on that daywhen i saw this ovies because i become crazy to see that movie 4 times,at third time i saw each set which was woandorfully uilt,that secen of when thety jumps when there are hole in that road,go watch two times u will enjoy
