sorry to say, the movie is not as bad as it is described, indeed few minus points are there but in overall the movie is a complete family entertainer, perhaps people should judge the movie not on vijay alone...i am not a fan of vijay but i think this is one of the different types of movie as all of us yearned for, shriya is just too early in the industry, she shud be given a chance to be at her best.....overall, its a family entertainer, sometimes review given are such nonsense..i am a critique myself at malaysia, we took survey on the movie and almost 94% of them gave positive review about the movie, so what if the minorities doesnt appreciate imperfection as they are imperfect themselves...
The movie is not that bad as described by rediff. a good portal like rediff should not have done such a nasty work.The movie has many drawbacks but an attempt to put forth a new concept.The movie is somewat fine with good music,choreography and a decent acting by the lead pair.

Does it mean that A T M is bad? Cant it be a good movie but (may be)not better than other movies in the top? I am not telling A T M is an WOW movie. But certainly , according to rediff star rating it can be given 2 and 1/2 stars. Or atleast 2. But isn't that vengeance to give one star for that? The reviewer should not review to his personal taste and spit hatred on those whom he dont like.
I watched the movie. The movie looked good to me and I was quite impressed with the acting of Vijay . In fact Vijay has done an excellent job and a huge change to the almost same roles he is doing in the past few years. The story is good and even the screenplay is good though it is slow. The movie is a refreshingly good one as compared to the same formula movies repeated in the film industry.
Of course the movie has few minus points. The direction and cinematography is not so good. Also the graphics is not at all good. Bharathan has not done a good part in this. I can remember seeing so many movies which are not good but has good cinematography. In this movie it is reverse . Though double action, is the main knot in the story, the graphics is very bad. Thats why the movie looks a bit uncomfortable to the audience. But the director has won as a Story Writer and Dialogue Writer. Vijay has done good comedy and style mannerisms throught the movie. I think After Ghilli, Vijay has done very good comedy in this movie. Sayaji Shinde is wasted with a useless role. Sriman doesn't fit into the role properly. Also I dont think AR Rahman has done justice to his name.

Azhagiya Thamizh Magan - Not an Excellent Movie but certainly a very good entertainment movie.

Hello Friends.. I am not at all a Vijay Fan.. Infact this is my Second Vijay's movie in a theatre.. First one was Gilli that too i went cos of free tickets.. I don like him much.. But I jus decided to watch this movie.. As many says so that the movie is one of the waste Diwali release, I never felt so .. I saw one movie called Pollaadhavan which was ok .. and Polladhavan is suppose to be a good diwali release.. I never had the satisfaction after seeing that movie.. But I liked this movie a lot.. It was really very interesting.. A good Entertainer actually.. I ll surly give 3/5 for this movie.. I do agree that the Visual Effects and the fighting scenes were really very bad.. But the story was good only.. I liked the movie..
because wat ever the posts send as a fovour of the film were wantedly deleted and the post remaining here were the only abusing messages..so rediff wants to make a bad impression abt this movie ...people will make this movie hit ...rediff cant stop the sucess of ATM..

I dont think like that. This movie is really one of the vijay's worst movie. May be you are the vijay fan, but movie is not gud...that is true.
Review is bad....we are not asking for vijay's history...review abt the film man...vijay works hard tats y he is in no.1 position now...and this moview is Total differnt frm his entire movies..people are asking something differnt frm him so delivers differnt subject and differnt acting...which is awesome and he done his job well and movie is gud ...
so guys dont belive this review and if any one tells this movie is bad dont trust them Go watch this movie ..am damn sure u will enjoy this movie ...entertainment Guranteed....

Who is number 1? The decision is still hanging in the balance! It can ba Ajith or Vijay, only some more time can tell that who is the actual varisu of Rajini! BTW, the review was only abt the movie and not Vijay. If thats the case , it wld have been even more terrible for u ;-)

If you mean that ESP thing is different subject, then you are wrong, That ESP was added because there was no story in the entire movie and they need something to stretch this boring movie into a 2 and half hours movie The director might have seen some malayalam movies and have stolen that ESP idea and used to to fill the first 1 hour of the movie
Directors nowadays dont have solid story, they just have the base and steal ideas from english movies and create a 2 and half hours of shit
Vijay rocks.............the dual role,songs,picturisation ,dance,screenplay everything is gud...All the actors done their job well...vijay's performance in dual role especially the villan awesome actinga differnt voice modulation....his style wahh superb...Sayaji shindey comes in a differnt comical villanic role ...santhanam's comedy...there is no special comdy track here but he entire movie provides one liner , santhanam and vijay combination rocks ,the special effects are gud..the scene wen both vijay meets ..nice to watch ...director keeps the suspence untill the last minute...we cant judge wats going to happen in the next scene ..screenplay is gud...Totally the entire movie is gud,filled with love ,comedy,sentiments,thriller,action ...
And to guys who spreads the wrong news here go home sit and watch tv serial...ur fit for nothing ...any way the movie is hit ..dont spend the valuble time and type some nonsence here ..

Hi Mr.Sanran....Looks like u are a big fan of Dr.Vijay....Appreciate it. But if u watch this movie just as a movie lover.....I am for sure u will not like it. The things that were good in this movie were only Vijay's dance and ARR's music.

The second vijay's acting is an absolute copy of thailavar's (rajnikanth) acting, Vijay copies all his style from Rajnikanth IMO, only vikram has the chance of becoming next rajnikanth
One of the worst movie I have ever seen. Dr. Vijay needs to consult a Doctor himself as his choice of movies are going from bad to worse with each passing movie. Since it was a Vijay movie I had kept all logic at home before going to the theater. But next time I will make sure that I will keep both my logic and sense at home and change my definition of entertainment.
