Do you think Kannada Movies are comparable to Tamil movies? Are the quality of the films of both the languages same. Any views? Cos I had seen technicians from Tamil shining even in Hindi. But not from Kannada.

Most of the tamil actors and directors are trained by Kannada film industry. Kamal hasan,Maniratnam,Kusboo,Prakash rai,arjun etc etc started there career in kannada. I think time has come they come back to kannada

I can understand Prakash raj and arjun, But not Kamal, mani(ofcourse debut in Kannada). Khushboo not a problem wherever she is or from

I agree that TN has good technicians but Gandhadagudi also has. Hear to the music of Gurukiran, Mano Murthy. See to the direction, story of S. Narayan, Yograj Bhat. Then there are great cinematographers like one who worked for Mugaru Male. Excellent technician who has used camera when there was scenes real rain. So I feel Anyone will match and compete with otyhers. For me Gandadhagudi is still rocking like the 70's and 80's. Jai Gandhadha Gudi

Its a great success of Gandhadha Gudi to bring the people back to theatres in huge numbers. Also getting the top singers of Bollywood is also not that easy. They wont sing for anyone and will first hear to the music and then select. I liked shreya ghosal's voice in Mungaru Male. See this is the way we Kannadighas accept and praise others too for their work unlike some here itself who provoke to make a provokative statements. Jai Gandhadha Gudi

But the way Sri, Getting Bolly wood singers are not that tough as you think. Shreya of course is mindblowing singer. But not as you think. Only thing is one has to afford. You can call them to sing for your Bday party as well if you can offer them good Bucks.

hey buddy singing in birthday partis is like for enjoyment and no problem to their career but if their songs flop in film industry, then its a huge loss. see now they are singing again in cheluvina chittara which is on the road to be next immediate hit of Ganesh. So Gandhadha Gudi is doing great now. But these days Kollywood not so great, friend but Tollywood is rocking again. I yesterday watched notebook movi. Though has nothing, it has good direction and story narration. New actors have done commendably well. Same with Gandhadha Gudi. All are rocking. Good to see that Indian Entertainment Industry is rocking.

Also Mungaru Male was very low budget movie shot in one place called Madikeri in Kodagu which also happens to be my native and birth place. But emotions is not the reason that I am praising this movie. It has broken all the previous box office hits/records.

yes wrt Karnataka what u said is true since Knnadighas are not movie freeks but in AP as well TN I have seen that even during weekdays a average movies run to allmost full house. I watched Nuvvanthe Naakistam in Vijayawada and in cimbatore i watched one but forgot the name. It had Vijay and Simran in the lead. BTW, I like Vijay from Kollywood

I think u dont follow closely. He infact very recently came to Bengaluru and watched movie Duniya in disguise. If u had read the rediff.com's articles itself, it should have been enough. Anyways he did meet the duniya actor vijay and congratulated him for his acting and gave his advice too. Now can you understand that he still is sivaji gaekwad and follows Kannada. Dont go-on to proove ur knowledge on what u scribble here, friend.

Bcoz in T.N badly needed of good actors & politicians. Contribution to TN from other states-As follows.. ) Karunanidhi is a Telugu. (Karunanidhi is the current CM of TN)
2) MGR is a Malayali (MGR was the CM of TN from 1977 to 1987 till his death)
3) EV Ramaswami Naicker is a Kannadiga (EVR is the founder of Dravida Kazhagam, parent organization of DMK and AIDMK)
4) Jayalalitha is a Kanndiga (Former CM and leader of AIDMK)
5) Annadurai is a Telugu (Founder of DMK and former CM)
6) Rajnikanth is a Maharashtriyan (Actor with a mass appeal in TN and likely to enter politics)

So is it wrong or right to accept people of other states. Havent we accepted a lady even from other country for a leadership. should they evacuate people from otherstate. hey buddy, he was just giving the facts and u should be practical to accept it. Though his aggressiveness is not acceptable to me too. Anyways India is a democratic country and no problem. Also We have many outsiders acting, buddy. there is aarthi chabria, Mallika Kapoor and many others from Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood. ITs all acceptable unless they go wierd with movie goers.

We are not like Kannadigas who hate tamils because of cauvery issue and bad non-kannada movies , just to revive their pathetic film industry.
Atleast now iam happy to read that kannada films have indeed improved a lot. Thanks to non-interference of Rajkumar family.

You have ever visited karnataka,No I dont think so,bcoz ur kind of a frog not come out of a well.In karnataka tamilians stands second in population after kannadigas.They are leaving more peacefully,Bcoz of ur type of ppl some times problems are created here..The person who visits karnataka he will never have second option to visit other place.This is bcoz of our culture & friendly ppl.

I knew u will do this. Anyways they didnt provoke or accelerate the problems but defended the stance from Karanataka side. Now its raining heavily and can take water but when its shortage is there then its logical that we cant share.
Kannada films are doing good this year and received good support not only from Kannadigas but also from Andhra, Tamil and Malayali guys. Language has no barrier, the good movies should be encouraged either it made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu or in any other languages. Mungarumale will be remade in 14 languages and also duniya which will be remade in tamil. Good movies Good support should be the mantra not language, please

lols meghna... kolkotta people dont speak with true undertsandable accent, then bihari, gujrathi, Punjabi, KAshmiri, u very well know all. Anyways English shouldnt be the centre of debate. It should be Hindi but u started with English so I wrote this. I know some are really talented especially bihari guys whom I met in my professional work but unfortunatley they themselves blame their state. Karnataka may not be very good as to match ones expectation but its far better than any state in India. I think WB, Maharashtra and AP can be on par. I agree that actors in Balaji look better becoz that is a tele serial of Atte & Sose, shoted in closed room/house, with only limited angles. See the movies njoy the story & expressions of all the actors in that movies. Photography is great... Just watch the movies and then comment... U stupid.

Hi Kannada movies are always good!! Only difference this year is that people supported thaem. Its a very good sign. let's wait...there are great movies to come up......we will support them too
