Radhika first know the fact that CHINNODU isnt a flop. It completed 100days in 35 centres without any publicity. Itstood out among major movies like boss,stalin,Raaraju etc. Why u guys at rediff just talk your mouthoff with out knowing anything. Plz its high time you guys at rediff GREW UP.
Telugu cinema has been remaking Malayalam and Tamil films ever since. I have seen N number of Malayalam films copied, but never seen any acceptance from the Telugu cinema on the same. In the above article, the actor does admit its a remake, but he adds a 'twist' by saying that love is depicted more in Telugu version (just for sake of it). Right from the time I saw Classmates(Malayalam), I knew it will definitely be remade in other three languages. First ones done, now other two are waiting to do it. I am just a bit disappointed as the other day, I read in paper about another remake 'Chandramukhi' (tamil) being remade into Hindi, but the article mentioned, it is a remake of a Tamil film instead of mentioning the original (malayalam).
