good journalism

Hi I have already seen the movie. Its like a documentary basically because the movie has followed the exact pattern of the book written by Hussain Zaidi. The movie even is divided according to Chapters. Watch it for the end scene, where the group of fanatics assemble to discuss whether they want to blow up Thackeray/Advani, wherein Tiger Memon intervenes to state that they gotta do something so that non-muslims would shudder to look at muslims in the eye and then suggests the bomb blasts. Other wise the whole movie unravels according to plan and the other half belongs to investigation.

Forgot to add that Hussain Zaidi deserves kudos for the extensive research done and guts to present the "data". Him being a muslim himself, he had the option to not write the book, or present the data with a bias, which he has NOT done. He has borne in mind the ethics and principles of journalism while writing the book. The accused getting convicted recently only bears credence to his research and facts.

How did you see this movie even before the release. Data required for investigating purpose.

Pirated CD, what else. Otherwise I wasnt going to watch the movie in a theatre. For me movies are entertainment and there's a certain genre I would like to spend my money on. Definitely not which look like documentaries.

bro lets support movies of any kinda of genre by goin in the theatre & paying for it..when one can blow up money on most of the crap that comes out of Bollywood or Hollywood then why not sometimes for movies that raise serious issues..of course one may not agree with them & if one disagrees that opens up the platforms fr sensible debates which leads us to open-minded approach to serious social issues..i believe cinema has the power to unite...best wishes, your bro.
