Asynchronious Transmission mode is correct full form. Asynchronious cos it works ony when card is put inside the slot and network is connected to server and will work only when all this components are fully active. So till someone puts its card inside it remains standalone for more of technical reasoning kindly use google

Don't give wrong info. In the context of the money machine, Automated Teller Machine is correct. Asynchronous Transfer Mode is a telecommunication protocol. What's the connection with the bank ATM?

how this is asynchronous? ATM transactions are synchronous. Dont invent meanings. "Automated Teller Machine" is right one.
