The women folk were a suppressed lot and were seen as material possession by men. This was least in India as compared to the continents of America, Europe and Middle East.
Its amazing to understand that Women fighting for status of equality (as I understand was for equality in voting, right to property, job and equal pay) and hving won the battle not so long back turned out to have an hidden agenda of getting permission to bare it all in front of masses to earn I do not know what.
Congrats women you are far ahead, hope the men still like to cover their bodies in a cultured manner (exceptions being cases of poverty or being forced)with more dignified cloths dsigned properly to fit them in a graceful personality.
But does not matter. I have often heared that the history repeats itself. If it were true then we are moving in backward direction and very soon (may be in next 500 yaers or so)we may start back on the process of getting civilised.
I have just one suggestion to make (i do not know if I am permitted to do so or not) that try to present your self as a human being and not like a sculpture carved out of stone for possession and materiliastic pleasure.
