It is a remake of Original Malayalam movie release in the year 1992. Name of the Film is 'Manichitrathazhu', even the bengali film is a frame-to-frame copy of the original. And the director of Bhool Bhulaiya, Priyadarsan have worked as Assistant for 'Manichitrathazhu' in 1992
the credit goes to tamil film-makers! full marks to the crew of Sivaji for turning an ordinary actress like Shriya into Hollywood material. I'm sure no one can do it better than a Tamilian!

u fool, wat did i say that became 'fanatic' for you? i just praised the tamilian film making skills, which comes as second nature to them. i dint say others are useless. if all others were like a tamilian, then why didnt a malayali or a bengali or even bollywood do it? today, aishwarya rai and abhishek bachan are the most talked about bollywood stars. who gave them a break in movies? mani rathnam, a tamilian! and we are not talking about poverty here. we are talking abt film-making skills! by pulling in everything else, you are proving to be the biggest fanatic! and if u are so bothered abt the state of tamilnadu, please look at ur own kerala, which has not a single company prospering because of ur communist culture which doesnt allow prosperity!

leave commenting abouth Si Lanka and Malaysia. The Tamils ther have not caused the problem. In Sri Lanka there is racist genocidal Sinhala government which is tryin gits best to deny rights and eliminate the entire native Tamil population which has lived ther for thousand of years, read yor history dude before making stupid comments. In Malaysia the Government is making laws that are only favourable to th eMalay population, and is denying the CHinese and the Indian( mainly Tamil) their proper rights as citizens of the country . The Chinese are aornd 34% of teh population and are the majortu in neighbouring Singapore ( around 75% ). MOst of them migrated to Malysian on thoer own accord. Many came as labourers and many cams as business men . Due to thier higher percentage adn hardwork,as well as the help received frpm the larege Chinese population in Singapore they had relatively prospered . MOst Indians were brough as indentured labour by the British around 150 years ago. These labourees were from the most backward section of the Indian population and have not beem given any oppurtuity either by the British or the Malysian government ( since independent ) to come up ( unlike th Malays) The Indians who migrated to Malaysia as businessmen, white collar workers and profeesional have prospered () but they are a minority. Infact the richest man in Malaysian is a Tamil. The Malsian government is deetroying HIndu temples and Tamil schools .They are fighting for thier basic rights.

u fool, u get ur facts correct first. it was mani rathnam who gave abhishek a break in yuva! and look who's talking about vulgarity! is there one movie of urs that has become a hit without skin show???
shreya is not only buetifull but also she does acting excellent. if anybody want to see her extreme action... please see telugu movie Santhosham (happy). she acted with nagarjuna. its class movie & very nice love movie
Shriya is talented, but I hope Rajnikanth have not taken patents of Shriya. Why should rediff post it as Rajni's heroin , instead of Shriya's name. Don you think she does have individuality. Atleast give some due respects to heroins too. Rajni is not everything.

so,watz the problem if they put rajni's heroine.. She became this much famous just becoz she acted in Sivaji with Rajini. She acted in telugu movies, tamil movies and a bollywood movie called awarapan .. Ever heard of awarapan and who acted in that movie ??

Where were you when 'Chak de' Girls are called as SRK's Girls by Rediff??? You stupids comes only when South makes news. Ask any South heroine, all will agree that a Rajini movie is path to instant stardom. Even an unknown Nayanthara is leading star after a film with Rajini.

You are absolutely right Veldandi! Rediff deserves the 'dandi' for calling a successful heroine like Shriya as something who has been created for and by Rajni!!
