So then where do u think Palakkad is? Before calling urself Indian,learn Indian geography.Palakkad Iyers speak Tamil and Malayalam and they like to be identified as Malayalees.
Although born in Palakkad to a Malayali father, and Tamil mother in Kerala, Vidya Balan, then Vidya Iyer grew up in Mumbai and attended St. Anthony's Girls High School, St. Xavier's College, Bombay and later the University of Mumbai. She graduated from college with a sociology degree.

I am from Palakkad & I dont know sh*t about Tamil. I thought Keralites are called Mallus & not 'Tamil speaking brahmins who reside in Palakkad'. Would you be saying the same about Asin, Nayanthara, Gopika, Navya etc. etc.? Get a life Mr.Irulappan, we're good neighbors & let it stay that way.

absolutely true. these idiots claim rajnikanth as pride of south, MGR pride of tamil cinema then why not consider vidya balan as a north inndian actress or for that matter aishwarya rai? jaise bolte hain na "chit bhi meri pat bhi mera". if rajni is a tamil actor or a mgr, then vidya or aishwarya are bollywiood actresses too. and they were friggin briought up in so-called north india.

I didnt knew that she is from Chembur, Mumbai. Thats where i live too. I know St.Anthony High School. Its an all-girl school. Its famous for its pretty babes. Vidya Balan has proved that..yet again. I think even Malaika arora is from St.Anthony's. Maybe even Shilpa Shetty.

I am proud to know that Vidhya Balan too is from Chembur, Mumbai and that she too studied in our St. Anthony's Girls' High School. Yeah! really, we feel proud to know from you St. Anthony's Girls' High School is not only famous for its pretty babes but also decent babes. Mrs. Jaya Bachhan too is St. Anthony's Girls' High school product (Bhopal) and Mrs. Shatrughan Sinha named Poonam too(later changed her name to... I forgot) belongs to our school. During our time, Poonam was the Head Girl of Our Red House. She really looked like a star when she had the Red house Flag in her hand during the school days only. Yes! I am proud of my school especailly for producing stars yet with simple good attitudes and down to earth humble in their behaviour. Hats off to you you make us really feel proud of you and our school.
