seems like u've seen only srk movies.. Rajni wears wig only in films but he comes out very simple without any makeup and he even drink tea in a local tea shop.. but ur srk movies have their premier only in UK..and u say hez very zimble..good joke.. and one more thing..not only rajini movies attract rickshaw pullers and coolies it attract even a 1 yrs old kid.An actor's movie shuld attract every range of ppl not only a group of ppl.

if you know the language,am sure u will agree and appreciate Rajni's works. He takes audience like a tick from his fingers. He doenst need to exert pressure on him to act. It comes naturally. Appreciate the language, and the people. if south indians talk about northies, we have lots to say.

Many may not be aware 75 % of Rajni's earnings goes in charity for education, marraige, medical treatment of poor technicians, rickshaw drivers, extras etc. A superstar - superman in real life too.
A perfect Indian - A Maharashtrian bus conductor in Bangalore becomes Tamil superstar - a unifying force. He shud be the prime minister of India.

Yes Baba... He may not have the skills needed for a great actor. But he has captured the imagination of every person in Tamil Nadu. It's totally wrong to say that elite people dont like him. Everyone in Tamil Nadu is showering love on him. He is a great human being next to M.G.R.

Who said Rajini is not great. Its the gameplan of rediff to start a north-south divide. You think no body in Rediff would have followed the Rajini based North-South fights that frequent their discussion boards. I am beginning to doubt their intentions ...
1. worldwide popularity 2. finances as a producer (both Big B and Rajni were never producers for their own movies) 3. variety of roles after just 16 yrs in the industry (at the same stage of career Amitabh had acted in same old meaningless crap of angry young man films...SRK has done Swades and Chak De and KHKN..less talked abt Rajni as far as variety of roles is concerned the better).
Overall, SRK has beaten Amitabh and Rajni fair and square.
Still so many ppl hate him in rediff. Shows that these psychos can't come to terms with reality and are venting their frustration. HAHAHA.

U r wrong. Rajni has tried his luck in hindi movies. Most of them were flops. He has acted as 2nd fiddle to Amitabh in 'Giraftaar' and 'Hum', watch these movies, nothing great, but u will realise where Rajni stands as compared to Amitabh.

Rajni Saar acted in Hindi movies, he tried but could not go beyond acting second fiddle.. So finally he decided to concentrate on his core competency, and rightly so.. tam movies n that too his 'kind of' movies...

SRK became superstar in 1993 far before media gained prominence. Its Hritihik and Abhishek who are media creations as they are hyped beyond unreasonable limits. They have hardly done the type of variety as SRK or even got as many hits as him still they are covered more than SRK.

I think you are getting it wrong... Rajini has produced and directed one movie which was a great hit called Valli. The other one baba bombed.. but investing is not a real problem for him.. even amitabh was producing many such films of his thru ABCL

I like shah rhuk too.But when it comes to talent he has to bite dust against KAMAL HAASAN.
Amitabh was the superstar in same generation as Rajni. We should be comparing SRK with any superstar in Tamil cinema of same generation as him. But There is no counterpart of SRK in Tamil cinema as no superstar in newer generation. Vijay is closest and SRK has overtaken even Amitabh and Rajni in popularity or finances or variety of roles (for his age and stage of his career ) what to talk abt comparisons with Vijay. HA HA HA.

it will not be wise to acompare a regional actor with a hindi cinema actor who's got a wider reach....vijays( and other tamil/telegu/ kannad heroes) movies are not shwon in states other than,m TN and Kerala and sometimes in Andhra and karnataka..
