my sincere condolences for those who went to watch the movie - including myself. Sukanya Verma- the rediff movie review lady could as well start watching some meaningful movies befr commenting on the new ones. If u as well go to the movies to watch the locales - then i feel u r too primitive to hav not heard heard of NGC or Discovery channels. Do whatever else u can - But STAY AWAY FROM THE MOVIE.

Total waste of time!! Bollywood can generate much better movies...this was not worth 3 hrs and lot of crappy songs!! Unrealistic scenario of the life...Movies if for MASS not for CLASS!!! YUUUKKKKK!!!! Better to watch Taladiga Nights by Will Farell the original hollywood version of this movie!!
TA RA RUM PUM IS A SAD MOVIE.. the kids are annoying..the story is so predictable..and rani acts.. no .. she over acts.. whts happening to u rani .. where has all ur acting talent gone.. ur acting was sad in BAABUL, KANK and in TA RA RUM PUM.. By Getting close to aditya chopra wont give u much.. we all know tht u like sucking of those so called BIG DIRECTORS..like kjo..adi.. sidd anand...

I agree with vikrant. TRRP is a bad movie.folks dont waste your money on this stupid movie. i rue the fact tht i chose to watch this movie. BEAN or BHEJA FRY wud have been a better option.
The biggest flaw of the movie is that...well it has no story at all. it's dificult to entertain people for three hours with just yash style emotions. making the movie based on car racing was a good idea; but i feel that the execution was terrible. the movie is good in parts but doesn't deserve a 3.5* rating. Also the part where Saif and Rani try to convince their children that they are just 'playing' poor, was so blatantly copied from Life is beautiful. And they couldn't even copy the concept convincingly. I am not against watching larger than life characters; but this movie takes the concept a step further. the movie is full of unrealistic situations( the whole family bathing in a public fountain, because of water problem at home); a lifestyle that shifts between lavishness and austrity ( and vice-versa) fatser than u can blink the eyes; songs were a big nuisance and didnot help the movie in any way. in the end all i can say is that I was disapponited with the movie
