Marriage-Media-Mayhem!
by STEPHEN SAYUJA on Apr 20, 2007 07:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Phew! at last the marriage of our country has taken place when it kept the whole nation crossed their fingers for this eventful day. Its nice that two popular actors have tied nuptial knot at the cost of the anxiety, scandalous, curiousness, sychopancy of the nation and uncertainty which was blowing in the air all these days about this 'great marriage'. But since it is more of a private affair of two families I do not understand why Media is blowing up this event out of proportion and exhibits a sense of joblessness and mundane. This would be the worst journalism ever when there are so many issues to focus light on and to care about. Indian Media should grow up to a more matured medium which people would follow and cherish than creating a hype of these trivial events.

A mismatch match
by Prof R K Gupta-India on Apr 20, 2007 07:57 PM  Permalink

Aishwarya was not expected to and correctly did not fall for Salman Khan.It is seen that most of muslims are not inclined to let their women marry other rleion followers but are always eager to convert non muslims into their fold.In any case Ash was too good for salmaan bhai.
regarding vivek i dont think he has in him much material exceopt that his one or 2 movies were good particularly Company.Alas Ash did not give him company .Poor guy.
But it is bad if Amitabh did not invite both in marrige They should have been.I think they must have visited them.'Dil jo na keh saka wohi raaje dil kehne ki raat ...ai hei"
Any way ash was desperate to get married due to her age.

Don't have time....
by sri on Apr 20, 2007 07:34 PM  Permalink

Hi Abhi & Ash,
Wish you all the best for your married life. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the marriage. I am stuck with lot of work and with lengthy conference calls :(

My manager says career is more important than attending such marriages. Its pity that I will not be having time even to go thru the news of your marriage and to learn who else was there at the function.

Have a nice time and I will see if I can get some time to meet you couples in near future.

Cheers!!!
