I have seen all the posts..really horrible. i have seen many world cinemas..indain language cinema also.. Indian cinemas all are musical.. even though some exceptions are there ..
i can rate the movie industry like this :
malayalam cinema - world class cinema even now.Adoor's masterpiece are all good representation from INDIA.
Tamil Cinema - contentwise,Technically,acting - giving great products..ex.VEYIL,Paruthi veeran(its a legend and EPIC in INDIAN cinema).mozhi. as well as all mani's movies.
hindi - no doubt..its rocking ..Black is a masterpiece from sajaai leela banshaali.RDB and Lagaan..is great.GURU is equal to AVIATOR..its growing..
Bengali - After ray and mirunaal sen..we are awaiting for a great film maker
kannada - Mainstream cinemaa's are worst..but the movies from kavitha lingeash and kirish kesaravalli are 'sensible'
Pathetic situation in TELUGU industry.. they are making large number of movies.none of them are sensible..quality..are are have many flaaws.even many doesnt have the basic cinema qualities..just a freeky..Bommarilli and Godhavari is exceptional..Telugu industry didnt realise the changes happening in INDIAN cinema..

Well, Veyil is a good film with a lot of absurdities. It is overrated and doesn't deserve to be screened at Cannes. However,Paruthi Veeran is a milestone in Tamil cinema and deserves international acclaim.
Congratz to the director. One thing I will tell in the discussion board is try to see different movies in different languages..I see movies in Hindi, Tamil and Telegu and Hollywood, In all three Indian film Industry give equally good movies, surely I enjoy seeing all these movies. Surely some of the tamil heroes look odd with big mustache and not good looking, but I feel it is better to look at their movies than to watch sad and clumsy look of Abishek or a romantic sharukh in each and every movie.
I request everybody to watch every Indian movie and try to understand their culture and respect each other.
Anyway here are some of the good movies in the last 3-4 years that any body from any language can watch 1. MunnaBhai(both) 2. Bommirilu(Telegu, geat time pass movie) 3. Godavari and Anand (Telegu, I guess both came from same director, both are amazing movies) 4. Mozhi(New Tamil movie, really one of the best movies I have seen in recent times) 5. Vettayadu Velliyadu(Kamal movie) 6. Khaka Khaka (Tamil, Surya Movie, surely One of the good actor) 6. Guru(Hindi, atlast Abishek learnt How to act, but Mani make even a stick act. so no wonder..)
I hope our ppl see movie and enjoy, rather than fighting about it.
a. being cyrus b. khosla ka ghosla c. DOR d. Mungaru Male [kannada] e. Eklavya - may not be liked by all, but i liked it... very intense movie...not typical commercial.. f. Omkara - great effort... you need good hindi to enjoy this movie...
