I don't agree
by Sandeep Bhardwaj on Dec 11, 2006 08:56 PM  Permalink

Let me tell you clearly. Among all those people, who are weakly trying to indicate that DON is a flop and a bad movie, around 75% are anti-SRK. Just ask them- how was the suspense, background scores, stunts and most importantly the stylish lifestyle which a don MUST live with. Look buddies, i agree you can't compare earlier version with this one but please erase it from your memories and then watch the movie with yourself being neutral. Or simply ask those people about the movies who haven't seen old Don. This could well solve this whole confusion.

simply brilliant, best film of 2006
by Durga on Nov 14, 2006 11:28 AM  Permalink

No words for praising DON.Simply Superb,Fantastic,Marvelous, excellent. It really is far more interesting than old DON.
Shah RukH truely justifies the role. Farhan's work is immensely good.Borman is excellent.I have seen this 5 times in theatres and still not satisfied. Wonderful performances by ShahRukh,Boman,Arjun, priyanka and Isha. It's the best of bollywood and can be compared to any Hollywood thriller.best VFX and Action ever in bollywood.

comments on the new Don
by priyodarshini on Nov 06, 2006 11:48 AM  Permalink

This is specifically for Kiran.I do have watched all the so far good films of this year and believe me I loved Don the most. It is not because of the fact that it is a King Khan film but also because of the fact that "sensible minds" would surely love this film.Nowonder it has to have all the hypes because it is the film of the King and I really do understand the pain and pathos that you have for not making so much os Hysteria with whatever favourite hero you have.you might be knowing that the film has already earned rs.75 crores overseas and some loads of money here in India too as people are not liking films such as Janemaan or vivaah or umrao jaan for that matter. So let me wish you all the best for your favourite icon and looking forward to see all the mass hysteria with him provided he proves himself as the "King".....

Three actors wasted
by ranganath on Nov 05, 2006 11:38 PM  Permalink

It was not just Om Puri and Boman Irani who were miscast and wasted in the movie. Farhan also under-mined Pavan Malhotra by casting him as one of the chief henchmen of Don. Watch the Telugu movie named Aithey. Pavan played a sophisticated underwolrd don in the movie. It was far more convinving and captivating than Shah Rukh's don. Pavan clearly deserved a better part of the script.
