basically i don't like SRK, becuze sometimes he acts like feminine character. so i din't watch this new DON until yesterday, i ran out of Hollywood movies and just decided to see what is there in DON. Got a nice DVD and watched. i felt the new DON-1 is really a good movie,it is in Hollywood style. i liked it, though i didn't like songs in between i like the whole character of DON. sometimes i felt the SRK cud have acted little more masculine when he is Vijay. but overall i liked him as DON. but one cannot compare to the level of roughness,toughness and masculinity amitab possess...He is the ultimate DON. and new DON2(2011) isn't as good as DON-1 of(2006)...
Perhaps after so much time and too many pathetic & biased reviews, either Rediff should close this section or abandon all these Moview Writers. Biased with their own thinking, they even forget how to write a neutral critic. Perhaps unable to justify the era of release of a movie, several influential factor & the level on which the present Indian Movie Industary is. After so much time instead of writing these reviews, people should learn how to write & what to write. After writing an essay on the movie, writer tries to justify it as \\\"Review\\\" (kindly mind the double quotes). I am not all those SRK Fan, but if we forget the old mantra of \\\"Old is Gold\\\" here, New Don is far more different & advanced in comparision to the Old Ond. Kindly notice, I am not comparing in terms of good or bad. Most of the things are defined in the New One. Although, the story is the central point in a movie, yet things like a good background music, loud fighting sequence, style etc. are there to enhance the user experience. The name itself \\\"DON\\\" revolves around power, money & glamore. Few of the things, 1) I ask the Review writer, which of the two movies justify the name. 2) My personal openion, don\\\'t compare the two movies. 3) One request for the Review Writers, kindly don\\\'t be biased & don\\\

I agree to you sirji.. This fellow Raja is totally out of mind. He doesnt have any sense for the work he is doing.
Let me tell you clearly. Among all those people, who are weakly trying to indicate that DON is a flop and a bad movie, around 75% are anti-SRK. Just ask them- how was the suspense, background scores, stunts and most importantly the stylish lifestyle which a don MUST live with. Look buddies, i agree you can't compare earlier version with this one but please erase it from your memories and then watch the movie with yourself being neutral. Or simply ask those people about the movies who haven't seen old Don. This could well solve this whole confusion.
