Guru's OST
by Dharam on Nov 20, 2006 06:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There are many ways to describe A R Rahman's music for Guru. 'Typical' is not one of them.

Guru's music is more true to film's context and that's a good thing.

well am an hard core rahmaniac.. and i accept that guru's music is fantastic

1)The word 'typical' is not suitable ..i feel

2)second tracks like megha barso , baazi laga and bappi lahris track and maayri are good but not excellent

3)ey hayirathe is superb , tere bin is best jaage na is divine

The three tracks whcih i marked as 'good' will be more endearing once you see the movie { as usaul an rahman fans expectations }

Rahman rocks !!! Guru hits ! 9/10 !!!

I wonder

I wonder how on earth the reviewer missed out on 'barso re' by saying it wont catch onto u..!Major understatement ! Course,u do have the freedom to opine n get paid for it, but makes me wonder though are you hhmm... a laid back,middle aged boy who only can appreciate ghazals/ballads and not find the peppy renditions like 'barso re' catchy 'nough..!Arguably,though one of shreya's best ! Listen to it more, may grown on to u..!I shall be brutally honest - that was a ho-hum review..!May be you need to take few lessons from sukanya's and raja's on rediff..!

is this raja himself on proxy????That is cheap publicity dude...cos I am yet to find some one who ever opinioned to me that Raja's reviews are goood!!!!!!!!!!!

Reviews of Raja stinks... Worse still, he raises his hood over three of my favourite topics.... Movies, F1 sports and Songs.... Rediff will be on a roll, if you avoid putting reviews from Raja...

Rediff, please dont take away his job though.(poor guy)...
