What was the final words heath ledger says at the very end of the movie when he looking at the 2 shirts hangin up and the postcard of brokeback mtn.? I have tried to replay that part several times and can't make it out. HELP!
Readers have been very vocal. Can you not respect a person for what he is. He likes guys, so unless he is after you what is your problem. I believe the movie shows genuine emotion. You see Ennis ( heath ledger) crying when he leaves brokeback.
I think it is a good movie. It will take a century for indians to acknowledge the fact that there are millions of gay people in India and only way to stop the spread of aids is to educate everybody and openly talk about it.

what do you mean by "only way to stop the spread of aids is to educate everybody and openly talk about it." !!!
Idiot, you don't have to become homosexual to avoid aids. use condoms, stay faithful to your wife and you will be fine.
Why rediff still employs Raja Sen, is what I cannot understand. It's just that he has lost all credibility in my eyes after that disasterous review he wrote about Mangal Pandey, that I am simply too prejudiced against him, to read objectively what he now has to say. The minute I saw his name, my brain automatically switched off. I am reminded of a quote: "What you ARE shouts so loudly in my ears, that I cannot hear what you SAY"
now a gay movie has won an oscar maybe next a movie made on bestiality will win an oscar there's no saying to hwat lengths a man's pervertism will go and someone might just say its all about love.... its sick dude, with a capital "S"
Hi Raja, I have always liked your reivews. But Brokeback Mountain was such a let down. It was only after I read YOUR review on it, that I decided to watch it. You said it was about LOVE... it was definitely everything but that. Towards the middle of the movie, all Jack and Ennis did were to keep going 'fishing'. I thought the movie would be sensitive... but it wasn't even that. It was not even a gay love story. It was just about two guys ... utterly selfish guys at that (leaving their ever-suffering families for the company of the other guy!)... and their 'lust' for each other. The movie started from nowhere and reached nowhere.... Anyone interested in watching two guys 'fishing' can go watch at their own risk... rest, stay at home or watch a better movie like Eight Below. -Debashri (Honolulu,HI,USA)
