Whatever you might say about her deadly looks...she has been one of the most powerful actresses of her times...She her in the De Sica movies with Marcello Mastrionni or in Two Women.....what performances....you have to see it to believe her incredible talent apart from her sexy looks...

Sure Hema and Rekha are ageless and still divinely beautiful. However Sophia Loren was a foreigner who came to Hollywood and earned her place acting opposite box office stars and earning an Oscar. That alone and her looks is what made her one of the world's darlings. And to still look glamorous close to 72 well that is something. So don't put her down. And don't put down Bipasha and our own glamour girls young and old. But acknowledge Sophia's beauty and her place in the global cine world.

Agreed that Hema and rekha look good at this age. But they are not sexy. Recall Sophia's words that one has to be born sexy. And in this sense, Sophia is sexy.. age doesn't matter. And for gawd's sake don't start a comparison with bipasha, tripasha to Sophia. This is ridiculous.
Why we always have to look to west to make our choices.does our hema malini and rekha look lesser sexy and prettier than sophie loren .i don deny that she was not pretty but we indians should not trivialise our beauty queens

Just because the white population certifies Loren as beautiful you (rediff.com) need not wag its tail in acquiescence! Our Bipasha Basu is much better and prettier than 100 Loren put together and smashed into a cauldron! Or it the "Italian" influence that is making rediff act like a friendly puppy!

What nonsense are you speaking? Just because we are Indians it does not mean that everything Indian is good. Sophia Loren is one of the most beautiful (and sexy) women in world. This bipasha or mupasha whatever you are supporting cannot even come close to the toe of Sophia...
