The intentions of iviting Bipasha was to be the grand marshall and let us take things at face value, . It is the motivation of people like achuthan which is most worrying. It reeks of a frustated character trying to be a moral police. It would be downright foolish to judge a person by his/her clothes or the way he/she dresses. We have seen countless example of unsavoury and devious characters who are very immaculately dressed. At least Bipasha comes across as a courageous women.
What type of clothes she wears, what type of roles she enacts does not represent the personality of the actual person.Bipasha, who I watched in an interview on TV,comes across as an intelligent, down to earth and a warm personality. If she has been harassed, the concerned persons should be brought to book.Only one thing I wish to tell Bipasha is stop advertising your relationship with John Abraham.Keep your private intentions private.
She is in a developed nation where the legal system is not perfect but i can assure you its a 100 times better then in India. If she really feels she was harassed she should get a lawyer in the US and sue.
Some one made a STUPID COMMENT suggesting that this sort of thing only happens in US. I remember a diplomat and some other high profile rape cases in NEW DELHI not long ago . This is just a verbal harassment case. This can happen in any country on earth so lets stop playing politics and lets try to get to the bottom of the facts as to what really happened. Every one has equal rights in the US regardless of your color, race, religion or profession.
If her claims are real she should persue legal action.
I think Indian women can never lie as per the comment's by bipashs vasu. I think this was shame less incident in the country like USA. I think all Indian all over the world shoul protest her.
i do not understand why educated people like these NRIs give so much importance to an heroine on occassion like independece day. I agree if people from some small town in india had invited a bollywood actor to such function. They couldve invited an achiever in fields like industry, science who contribute to the wellbeing of the nation or give some respect to it. I dont think indian film actors have bought good name to the nation. They are hardly recognised outside india by non indians. So..u people deserve this. Learn from this experience at least. And its an example for others also who plan to invite an actor/ item girl to every occassion irrespective of the importance of such occassions.
Sir/Madam, This is a very bad news. Treat Women with respect- every man with good morals, every man "living" in a free civilised society must have respect for women. Bipasha is an important person for India, as she is one of the very good actresses that Indian film industry can 'talk' of. It is very distressing to hear that some men treated her with disrespect & not many are willing to extend her a supporting hand. Over & above the men involved were the ones 'responsible for her comfort & care'. I plead to all ('humanbeings' of todays civilised society who support "freedom') to see to it that the GUILTY ARE PUNISHED- irrespective of their influence.
