I watched the movie, and felt, Mohanlal's dubbing should have been avaided. Also, some of the erratic scenes like Rameshkanna's comedy, as well as Jeeva's introductory fight scenes could have been easily avaided. Theya re the night mare's for this film to get flopped in Tamil..
Mohanlal undoubtedly d most talented actor of India s been insulted by RB choudary. its a shame 4 producers. He has done a great job in this film. he was living as Major Mahadevan. by using another voice d charector has lost d depth, now producer s ready to dub d voice of Mohanlal and xcuse of RB s Mohanlal wasnt available at d right time. He s a greatactor and s busy with future projects so Rb shud hav waited 4 his consent. did he do d same aginst Kamal and Rajni
i feel that mohan lal must have been consulted he uis senior professional in the indian file industry and not only in kerala he is popular among all the indian film watchers and audeince all over the world. One feeels that his presencein the fle os ery significant and the magnaminity that he had to give Jeva a lot of opportunity speaks volumes of his grenerosity and talent.the file is not a flop in tamil but is alate opick up as they asay in the industry
Mohanlal is a Living legend. Dubbing with somebody else without his consent is an insult to him. I havent seen the movie, but heard lal's voice quality and lip movement in Tamil version is pathetic. Anyways, the the movie a big hit in malayalam.
I saw the film but i am very sorry to say that the voice of mohanlal doesn't suits him. I should be good if he only dubbed it, like in the malayalam version which is a superb. I think producer has made big mistake....
Atleast they should have spared Mohanlal,the great actor.Only one question to the producer,in similar situations would he have done the same if the actor in question was Kamal Hassan or Rajinikanth.Will the latters ever agree to shift in focus in a movie they act from them to their co-stars just because the co star is the producer's son.
Hope the producers do not take cheaper routes like this(atleats with established and recognised actors) to project their kids.
