Mr Raja Sen

I agree...word to word on Omkara....except that, you forgot Irfan Khan, Om Puri & Naseeruddin Shah in Maqbool...what a perfect performance by all three.....Vishal Bharadwaj seems to extract worldclass performances from his actors...I think it is way to go for Vishal Bharadwaj...Makdee, Maqbool and now Omkara...

Omkara is a gem!!!

I completely agree with the writer here. I have already seen the movie twice and I still cant believe what a movie the director has made. Its brilliantly scripted, beautifully shot, and performed just perfectly. Each character is wow and special me ntion to Konkana. Just 15 minutes of screen presence and what a performance.

Saif has once agaib proved he is special and Devgan has done what he always does best, performed brilliantly.

Its a treat to watch a movie like this. Hindi cinema has really come off age and its really great to see that we have bold directors, who create something they strongly believe in. There are so many moments in the film which can be termed just brilliant, like the first fight sequence, Kesu and Dolly singing I just called to say, the rain sequence between Omi and Langda, Konkana's dialogues when Omi tells her about Dolly's deceit.

I can go on and on but let me just say... WHAT A MASTERPIECE!!!!

well,
all you siad still does not do justice to the movie.
In simple words it just blows you out and makes you think.
I think the Real star in the movie is Vishal Bharadwaj.
I meet him when we had just came to bombay and had no idea about the talent hidden in him.

great job Vishal.

keep it up.

Ps; Please dont forget and do make a adaption of Hamlet even if Every other director in town does it as it my favorite and wanna see how u make it.

Agreed!!

It was indeed cool.
I was hoping it would take off like 'Pulp Fiction' heer, but unforunately the only cult hits are Yash Chopra movies( which I like nevertheless).
I loved the original tragedy too- and this one does better- almost nothing seems out of place or
not-fitting-the-bill kinds.
Anybody that has ever been to those parts of UP would identify how true it is to the land!
In my opinion - COOOOOL STUFF!
